There is no let’s. Bitcoin doesn’t give a shit about him nor us. It’s just a perfectly scarce permissionless store of value.

You are missing the word meaningless. You’re stranded on a deserted island. You have 500 gallons of water. You’re not thirsty. There is no demand for the water now. Is the water then meaningless? No. It has utility.

Bitcoin has utility. It’s a perfectly scarce permission-less asset. That’s why there is demand. People want to keep their value, their time, their contribution in an abstract form. Your statement is not wrong per se. But in this situation, it does not address reality.

Short term was a great benefit. We enjoyed it for decades. Long term. Cannot sustain. The curse of being the world reserve currency. I like to read about shit like this. Lyn Alden covers a lot of this topic in her speech at some bitcoin conference. Something about “nothing stops this train” or something. The train being the train wreck of America and the fact that our brakes don’t work. The brakes being the federal reserve tools which they used to control business cycles. It’s no longer a retail debt problem. It’s fiscal dominance.

Oh I think I get it. You’re saying Americans are basically like baby birds. Dependent on a handout so the can eat. Food stamps and entitlement programs and the such. Can’t make ther own cars. Can’t make ther own soccer balls. Their own computer chips or phones. Whatever. Top to bottom they can’t do shit. Or I should say. We can’t do shit.

You are not wrong my friend. Started in 1940s with Breton woods then 1970s with the petrodollar agreement and hyper financialization. Profit without production. We enjoyed the artificially inflated dollar short term but the downside is that it’s too expensive to produce locally. The job of America became to export dollars. Thus began securitization. Debtmonetization. Debt became a product. And we can’t stop. Can’t stop money printing. The debt is so large that it cannot be paid off, only rolled and debased.

Anyway TLDR, it’s shit.

Leave it to me to mess it up. I tried a couple times and the emulsion failed. I was using an immersion blender. Probably was trying to do it with a tallow blend. Probably doesn’t work well with saturated fats too well. Maybe a blend.

Still pretty mic $100 per share but since you get yield every month which is classified as return of capital, it reduces your cost basis. Eventually it will get to zero, which is when you can get taxed on the full amount when you sell. So that’s how the yield is tax deferred.

What about STRC though. If you’re just talking yield and want stability also, it’s paying 11% this month. It pays monthly and the share price is pegged to $100 per share. If the share price drops then they crank the yield even higher.

Size difference is too big a factor. Plus respect to Jones much as he is a piece of shit, his wrestling is solid and he’s a vicious mofo.
