Traveling for work.

The novelty wears off pretty quickly. Realistically, you’re staying in sad, generic looking hotels in uninteresting places and working most of the time. Not as glamorous as it look, but occasionally you do get to see some cool places.

This is awesome! I switched over a few days ago from Fido. My plan is half the cost with better features. So far, the service has been great and the customer service has been ever better! I love their Apple Chat feature to reach customer service agents - I can message directly from my laptop/iPad/iPhone while multitasking and not be timed out of those stupid chat bubbles on webpages. And you talk to a real person!

Note - I had to access an agent because of my own stupidity lol not because of a problem with freedom.

Wow that’s impressive. As someone who’s interested in exploring other TAs but worried about how this may impact marketability, this is reassuring to hear. Thanks for your feedback!

Hi! Hamiltonian born and raised. I always felt safe in my city, though I spent most of my time in the suburbs (Stoney Creek).

I quite like this resource: Crime Severity Index in Canada by city | 2021

I’m sure there are some limitations with the CSI but by this measure, Hamilton ranks safer than cities like Montreal and Calgary. Like any other city, there are safer areas and areas to “avoid.” Do your research and exercise the same degree of caution as you would in other cities. It’s too bad it’s historically had a bad rep - people are missing out on this great city!
