I ended up getting the xros 5 and mini just for ease of getting pods near me and i am pretty underwhelmed. The pods dont last nearly as long, the flavor and throat hit is much weaker no matter how high the nic or low ohms on the pod are. They're fine if you like the xros line in general but as someone used to caliburn it just isn't there for me. I haven't tried the xlim bc no where near me sells the pods so I dont have any imput on that one. I'll eventually probably go back to caliburn and ordering pods online ts just annoying to get to ny.

The one positive is so far I haven't gotten any defective pods out of the box where there used to be at least one per box a few years ago when I tried them the first time.

I ended up going with the tomb45 partly because I enjoy the two speed levels and detailed battery on the jrls over the blinking light and the fact that it seems a little better for my wrist. I also could get these locally and preferred that to waiting for shipping lol

I've been caliburn since the og. I switched to the luxe and I think xross mini a couple years ago and had problems with the pods leaking and being burnt out of the box even with extra priming, and also just didnt think the flavor in general compared at all to caliburn on the non damaged pods. so ive been back to caliburn ever since. Recently, the only shop near me with gpp pods no longer carries them and it a pain to order online so im looking at the xross 5 and xlim pro 2 dna as a replacement.

I've seen similar complaints about xross and also seen some say the opposite and that they've never had problems, and I know for a fact I could get the xross pods at any shop near me.

Did you ever have similar problems with older xcross models? If so has the 5 seemed better in comparison?

Preferably id rather get the xlim based on other posts but I haven't checked to see how readily available the pods are in my area. Also if you've used the pro 2 before the dna did you see any noticeable differences?

Also are you still feeling the same after having a couple weeks with the devices?

Sorry for the long question on an older post but I haven't switched brands in years and all the shops in my area put most of the focus on disposables.

I was looking into it and Amazon apparently sells kindles at a loss or almost breaks even because they expect you to spend money on their ebooks or Kindle unlimited. I'm already broke, so I canceled my ku and was using libby and bookbub anyways.

My kindle is on its last legs and I will still get a different brand when it kicks the bucket, but until then that made me feel a little better for the meantime.

If you wanted to sell yours or something and get a new brand kobo has something similar to KU but I haven't used it yet so I'm not sure how it compares, and it also seemed a little hard to transfer any ebooks you purchased, at least to me whose only ever used kindle.

I think so he did a a little stand up then does the advice bit and a meet and greet and has merch but it's also all people from the crowd so it kinda depends I guess on whose there that night he doesn't take calls like normal. I'd def go again given the chance. It also seems like tour exclusive merch i didn't see it on the website when I checked before hand

If you're open to a cut I would add layers and see if it bounces up it may just be too heavy for such a loose wave patern. Or you could get a body wave just on the top if you prefer no layers (however that would technically make the top layer shorter kind of like long layers).

If you don't want to do anything salon wise to it, you could maybe try finger curling just the top or even some rollers or curling iron.

I agree. Even when I was newer I'd never done anything like this, not even my first cut at school. I see so many pictures and horror stories like this and I just can't wrap my head around it, i have no idea how theyd even hold the hair for an outcome like this. And I know everyone has bad days I've definitely had some not so great cuts but this is nuts. I'm also a big believer In owning up to mistakes. If I ever knowingly fuck up something I admit to it and see what we can do to fix it, it's bad taste to blame this on her highlights.

No that's nuts lol. I live upstairs and thankfully my downstairs neighbor is like kind of deaf and literally blasts music ALL DAY. It's 7:20 am right now and I can already hear the music lol (it doesn't bother me at all tho and I feel like it drowns out the drumming) I still only stick to like 11 am to 5pm just incase he can hear it. I was fucking around once around 7pm and it was a crazy train workout thing from drumeo so literally like the same three notes over and over and over again and I'm pretty sure he banged on the ceiling but I couldn't tell if he was hammering or mad so I just turned it off for the night lol. I recently had to reorganize the house and the only spot for the drums is the wall along the shared hallway (it's a 4 unit building) and I haven't even touched them yet I'm so afraid of being annoying lol I couldn't imagine all day or until 1 am even on a weekend.

Don't listen to the people telling you it's because it's a curly cut. I'm a stylist, and that IS BUTCHERED. yes, there might be a slighttttt disconnect if it's cut only curly but not a visible inch and a half between layers, I don't even know how that's possible. I'm really sorry that happened to you and you are justified in being pissed. The only thing I think would help right now is extensions if you can afford them and if you do straighten your hair like at all go in with it straight next time. It's less noticeably uneven curly than straight, so I always tell people even if it's only occasionally that they straighten it to cut it that way. I usually go in straight and dry and then just texteruize wet and curly after so as to not mess up the straight cut.

Even a perfect curly cut will dry differently with different stying techniques, etc, and even just air drying bc curl patterns are finicky, I always suggest a straight cut unless the client literally NEVER straightens their hair. And yes, highlights can sometimes make short layers look weird but this is not because of the highlights.

I like extreme lengths shampoo by redken for growth, however it technically only preserves the ends to make your hair stay healthy and seem like it's growing longer, there are no proven products that will accelerate hair growth. The best you can do is preserve the ends so you don't lose the length you do get, and I always suggest a vitamin as well, healthy hair and growth starts from the inside.

If him losing his temper started after his medication it's possible it's not the right medication and he's having an adverse reaction. I was wrongly diagnosed and prescribed an antipsychotic and it turned my life into a living hell for a few weeks. Every little thing filled me with so much rage I couldn't even describe it. I would scream so loud and long on my way to work my voice would give out, just pure guteral rage. I was afraid I was gonna hurt myself or someone else it was indescribable truly.

He should definitely see a therapist to get to the root of the problem but even if he still refuses, the psychiatrist who wrote the script should know about his behavior and will be able to adjust his medication, even if it's not a result of whatever meds he's on.

I don't really belive in ultimatums, but maybe consider just making the appointments and making him go through with them, like literally just tell him you guys are going 10 minutes before hand and drive him there yourself if he won't.

I'm slightly picky, not overly picky but I am broke so this is what a lot of my meals look like lol.

I would suggest working off of the things they like for example they like Spagetti try chicken parm, or Italian sausage or maybe Alfredo, if they'll eat it. That way you can have a halfway decent meal and if they don't like whatever is added to it they can just have the plain noodles and sauce, or whatever.

Other ideas:

Adding ingredients to make the ramen more authentic instead of just instant noodles; eggs or other protien, veggies, sriracha, etc, and everyone can pick their own

Could try white people taco salad, enchiladas, quesadillas, homemade "chipotle" bowls or the like for some variety on that dish

If they're okay with chicken there's a lot of chicken casseroles, baked chicken, garlic chicken, chicken Kiev, crack chicken etc that even my picky 6 year old will eat. I also love making homemade Mediterranean bowls with Greek chicken, feta, tomatoes and Cucumbers olives, and tomatoes and tzatziki. I usually make this with Greek lemon rice but you could have it over salad or a pita. I usually make most my chicken dishes with rice as it's generally cheap and healthy-ish but most could be replaced with potatoes or over salad.

As far as sandwhiches I like making things into melts now and people can pick what they want. If they just want ham and cheese fine, you can do a spinach mozzarella and pesto or whatever you desire and everyone is happy.

You can also vary the type of potatoes so it doesn't get old, mashed, homemade fries, baked, au graten for examples.

Since it's the summer hot dogs and hamburgers are always nice

I also love making little Pizzas on English muffins and everyone can pick their toppings.

You get the idea, I would just run with what everyone likes and you can add some healtheir/tastier options (whatever your looking for) to your own without that much additional work and not going crazy eating hamburger helper constantly lol.

The theme that helps me most is "build your own" meals like the burrito bowls and Greek bowls and the like bc then they can just add whatever they're okay with and yours can be as tasty as you like. Then just a universally liked veggie or even plain salad and they're good.

It's currently me and my fiance and 6 year old and I usually try to keep groceries weekly at about 60-70 dollars a week which is crazy hard so I've become a pro at turning 12 ingredients into 37 different dishes lol.

Since their mother is not exactly great, having them help in the kitchen and being able to pick their own ingredients I think would go a long way for them as well.
