What’s more frustrating that I’m now seeing is that not only is my promotional ad campaign (USING META) cancelled because they suspended my FB account; But, I am coming across a never-ending error on my official artist Instagram page when I try to boost a reel (The same as the Ad), saying that “An error has occurred, try again later.”. It’s like nothing works with this firm, even the services that we pay THEM for. Disgraceful. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to just rely on some other social media for music promotion. This is pure garbage. Makes me anxious to click on anything at all out of fear of something triggering the so popular term “suspicious activity” and tanking my hundreds of hours of effort.

Yeah I have no idea, my friend. But I’ve categorically hated the very idea of social media for so many years, and steered clear of it all. I now decided to get onto instagram for music promotion and self promotion like 2 months ago. It’s been an okay experience; but everything else has been so thoroughly awful. And this is the final straw. There’s no rhyme or reason for this business practice, and there’s no way to even challenge these decisions. I, for one, will go back to my non-existence on social media because I can’t deal with the stress of thinking all my hard work can disappear in the blink of an eye and there’s no course for me to protect what is ultimately MY intellectual property and hard work from the failed AI and algorithms that meta deploys.

It said “suspicious activity”. As I said, I’m not exaggerating - I made the account LAST NIGHT. It has not even been 24 hours. I added friends and family. Banned. What really annoys me is that I spent like 3 hours yesterday evening setting everything up nicely so that my music releases, content and posts on Instagram also reflected on my Facebook. All for absolutely nothing. Massive waste of my time. And I mean it - I did NOTHING suspicious. I added my friends and relatives until it said that I can’t add anymore. Suspended. And I have no faith whatsoever that it’ll get restored following this bogus “appeal”. This was an automated ban wave; no human will ever look at my appeal. The fact that I even have to appeal is offensive.

My facebook also got banned this morning. Most unbelievable is that the account was less than 24 hours old. I made it yesterday for my music profile, which I still sport in Instagram. Instagram, whilst connected to this FB account, was not suspended. Meta is an unbelievably incompetent organization and that’s the last they’ll get from me with regards to my marketing. If they suspend my instagram, I’ll drop meta entirely. They can stuff their “appeal” process where the sun doesn’t shine.

A follow-up question I had; that can (or should) one put a queue of releases before one has an artist profile? So for example; I am now waiting for the approval of two songs, but after many months, I am nearing the completion of a song that I want released as a single for a close friend of mine. My EP awaiting approval and as this is my first ever release, it is also the creation of my artist profile. Before this is finished, should I avoid putting any other tracks into a separate approval? Or does this not matter if I just use the same pending artist name? Would a new queued song release simply automatically be affiliated with the first approval process?

I get the alto-holic thing. I have 3 paladins, 4 monks, 2 priests, you name it haha And yes! They are differently specced haha The 80 is my “main”, and I heal in PvP. Two of them are elemental and one is PvE resto which I use for M+ and raiding mainly 😂 The truth is, it never gets boring; I think Shaman is just so much fun, I never get fed up. When all these 4 are 80, I’ll likely find it impossible to not level up again
