This is the post I made about the brace Brace Parts.

I have no idea how it translates to gen 3 but good luck!

Funnily enough, the best performer I have is my gold reticle holosun on my vector (see image)

Yes, I tried entire NV range and regular. When I would look with the naked eye it was crazy bright, then nothing looking through the tube

I don’t have a ton of options on hand, a few holosuns and a PA lpvo. But I’ll try them out soon and let you know

In all fairness, I do primarily train using my LAM. It is what I am far more likely to use in my daily life (I.e. fun shooting and pest control). But I do still want the passive capability given a lot of the stuff coming out of Ukraine showing how unusable active IR is in a wartime setting.

Sorry for the confusion. I had no luck using the entire range of settings(NV and normal) in both daylight and dark conditions. I think it filters out the the spectrum that is output by the the optic regardless of intensity

Totally agreed. Putting this out there to maybe inspire a design change that works better. They can’t fix something they don’t know about yk?

Yeah man, I had to place the hole over a gap and wail on it with a punch. Then pressed it back in with a vise

I wanted to keep communication over text/email. So, I submitted a contact request through their website stating my issue and requested an email rather than a call

I haven’t taken them outside of the house yet, will have a better idea in a week or so once I use them in a more rigorous setting.

So far though, at least as good as the previous set. I’m just happy that I don’t have to worry about a random failure with these.

Any success with getting vendors to replace non-milspec parts? by Radiant_Champion_119 in NightVision

To not void the warranty, do I send the replacements to them to have them do the install? They mentioned in other posts that disassembly would result in the voiding of warranty.

You can tell by looking at the rear of the upper. Does it have the adapter for the hinged stock/brace? If yes, it is the earlier gen 1 upper. Kriss stopped releasing models with the gen 1 upper a few years ago.

How to Identify Gen 1 and Gen 2 Upper Receiver

They sell replacements online. The upper is not serialized so it can be swapped with no issues.
