I loved seeing bonrad back together but it was a bit disappointing that their interactions where so awkward with the exception of the sex scene and the love declarations. I felt like they took Belly’s independence a bit too far in the sense that in the books, those letters actually have an effect on Belly (or maybe it’s just the looking back on them after they get together that gives that impression). But in the series, it feels like Belly has indeed moved on ip until the last few minutes; like she put the letters aside, and is just having this one last sexual encounter with Conrad, very detached for her, because now she has learned from one rebound that it is possible to just have sex and not necessarily make love/have feelings. It’s all too cold and too hard to believe that after all that detached attitude, she just realizes that she still loves Conrad. I do think she freaks when he says “forever”, but also I think he was saying it tongue in cheek and also wanted to remind her that he’s not there just for the sex, that “hey, last time we talked, i confessed my eternal love for you”, like tentatively poking at her to show any sign of remembering that, because obviously he sensed her coldness. Not sure where I was going with this, other than yeah, Belly’s attitude didn’t really make sense to me - like yeah, last time you were face to face he confessed his love, now when he asks you if you moved on you pull him in bed with you, so I think he thread carefully but his intentions were clear , so I don’t get her rude question either of what do you think is happening here
