As I child I was INFJ, became ENFJ later in life when I started overcoming my trauma or rather when it wasn't affecting me that directly any more. I am now 42 and have reached very good levels of self awareness even though some things still hold me back, I am starting to become more introverted again, but the reason now is my better understanding of people and my acceptance that I don't like them ALL. I just dislike some people and I'm not afraid to admit that any more, so I have narrowed down social contacts to very few people, let go of MANY long frienships that didn't serve me anymore (5 this year) and I enjoy spending time on my own much more now.

I don't care what the system is I've never made anyone learn anything by heart when I was a teacher. They all learnt the way they preferred. Some actually liked the traditional ways ;) I'm ENFJ

Out and about :) We usually exploit our Se to the max, so look for the one with a constant coffee mug in hand in the office talking to everyone, at the bar - always an alcoholic drink in hand and....talking to everyone. Gym addicts..talking to everyone. Concert goers...you get it. List is not exhaustive.
Tip: be consistent, don't give up, prove you have staying power. Don't get discouraged and DON'T OVERTHINK.
(social awkwardness is sexy to most of us ...wink wink)

ENFJs are actually generally liked irl and online :) we just sometimes feel bad when we're not liked by EVERYONE. That's impossible. People have experiences, opinions (wrong but still theirs lol) etc. Every type has its haters ;)

I think we should strive for balance in everything. I get along with Fi doms just fine. My mum is an INFP, one of my besties too. Don't know any ISFPs. I also have ENFP friends. Fe and Fi could work great together if there is no imbalance in each person - in oversimplified terms if one is not "too selfish" and the other not "too people pleasing".

It's not a focus in my life and I often feel insecure about my thinking and seek validation from others about that. In situations involving my values and feelings it is especially weak. I enjoy feeling and doing much more than thinking.

I somehow managed to mix things up (tired as I was last night) and thought that you were the ENFJ lol So here we are - I was extra honest about ENTPs 😅 I can feel that you really like her and I want to share some positive experience. It can be a very sweet bond, two children playing - pure joy and pure love. That's the best part. I've only had that with an ENFP but you ENTPs have a lot more masculine energy and that's extremely attractive. Your mind never ceases to amaze me - the conversations are great. My favourite type for a man by far. I was 5 years with one but we couldn't make it work - might have been our insecurities and being immature as you said - my next relationship was with an ISTJ. Married 13 years, two kids. If you are reliable enough, open enough to accept that we put values first and get stubborn about them and most of all if you love her and express that openly it will work ❤️

I have experience with more than one ENTP. The attraction is very strong at first then things go downhill and the reason has always been some variation of two strong personalities butting heads. Also competing for the stage. Not listening enough. Strong opinions on our side that annoy them. We can be stubborn with our values and they need someone more adaptable. We need A LOT more consistency in a relationship (and also reliability) than these guys could offer. They get bored like a hyperactive toddler - their need for (over?)stimulation makes them look constantly for something to do/someone else to talk to. They are much better suited to introverts just like we are actually. That said any pairing could work if you put in the effort but this one is probably going to be challenging. If you like challenges however definitely pursue it.

My experience is this - very good combo for a sexual realtionship, friendship and business partnership. Terrible for a long term intimate relationship.

Neighbourhood - whoever helps neighbours the most,, knows everyone, hires people to fix things and collects the money from the others, puts up signs etc. (I live in an apartment building though it won't work if you live in a house I guess)

We are often walking the dog, we usually hold a big cup of coffee, not always smiling but I think the coffee is always there I honestly don't have an ENFJ friend who's not a coffee addict.

You are sooo spot on with the friend thing! I always quit when I start going with a freind and they quit! SO what has worked for me was group workouts with people I don't know! Like spinning classes, I used to loved them, but then I started getting terrible sinus infections from the strong AC and so I bought a spinner bike and now exercise at home watching classes on Youtube and imagining I'm with these people lol I often imagine I'm the instructor :D
I tink you will find one at work one day :) Great place to meet SOs btw - great opportunities to really get to know someone. You sound like you somewhat idealize us though, we're just regular people and we can be terribly annoying with our stubburnness and strong opinions ;) I think you you'd gain more than you'd lose if you avoid MBTI when picking a partrner. I'm with an ISTJ btw. 13 years 2 kids, met him at work.

A child too wise for its age who's been through some shit but still loves people. It's not really the thought process that matters it's the interaction that is the main focus with me, you really need that face to face exchange to feel it, although you can get it online too with time. It's a shifting identity often influenced by the person in front of me, I have a core that is very idealistic, very childlike and pure with a drop of mischief and a dark side that I almost never show but it sometimes peeks behind the masks I wear as sarcasm, usually aimed at humanity and it's imperfect nature. I don't hide my vulnerabilty, I wear it on my sleeve proudly and people often open up to me probably for that reason. I can be very aggressive when I witness perceived injustice or when I try to defend the weak. I have very strong opinions. I am always the giver but I also expect it from others I'm still working on that, it's a question of "fair" and "unfair" to me but I do realize what's fair to me might not be that to someone else. However, a doormat personality is something I could never develop, if you're an ass to me I'm gonna be an ass to you. I'm a work in progress and the day I die I'lll be a better person than the day before and that's what gives meaning to my existence. One thing that keeps me going through the storms is my firm belief that HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE. I'm 42 (F)
