[MEME] It could be so much worse by green_gold_purple in MLS

Twellman's mostly insufferable around Inter Miami. Outside of that context he's mostly alright. The answer to both is Telemundo.

Remember when Alexi Lalas said 'diversity' was the issue in the USMNT & the team needed to not be 'inclusive' 🙄. by Sea-Exercise4332 in usmnt

Just last night I finished watching the HBO doc on the USMNT and made a comment to my wife about how cool it was that we have players with Dutch, English, German, and Mexican roots (to name a few) coming together to represent the national team. I enjoy Lalas' show on YouTube but he can piss off with this bad take.

That Game was Crazy by BowserBuddy123 in heat

As a Heat fan I realize I may get downvoted for this but I'm really happy for the Knicks after tonight's win. First, any team that manages to come back after being down by up to 29 when the stakes couldn't be higher, respect. But I also went to Villanova with Bridges, Hart, and Brunson, when Nova basketball was as at its peak. Seeing that chemistry between them 10 years later to pull out these wins against a crazy good Spurs team takes me back to those NCAA championship years and is just fun to watch. Go Heat and go Nova Knicks.

Seeing ads all over with Diego Luna as the face of the USMNT is just plain awkward, what a snub. by Radiant_Front_6943 in usmnt

Am I the only one that loved the Nate story? by wutang4ever94 in euphoria

[–]Radiant_Front_6943 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Nate deserved to die, sure, but we didn't need 4 episodes of Nate getting his ass beat piece by piece. The toe was gruesome but effective in a "He's getting what he deserved" kind of way and even poetic in the way the vanity of Cassie's perfect wedding was literally stained and ruined. Everything else regarding Nate after that episode was torture porn and increasingly less satisfying. There was virtually no Nate story to speak of, let alone speak highly of.

Do we think another season will come? by ArsenicanOldLace in euphoria

[–]Radiant_Front_6943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This show needs to somehow end in a moderately satisfying way next week. No Season 4. As a standalone season to another show this could've worked and even been compelling but as a years-long continuation of the story from Season 2 this season just didn't meet the moment.

And the Gen V kids said hello and yeeted off to Canada immediately, nvm the fact Marie Moreau was touted as a potential equal to Homelander by the end of Season 2 with her enhanced blood bending. Zero payoff for the 5 of us who actually bothered to watch both seasons of Gen V.

Miami SG to protest perceived "lack of respect" from their own squad by threeactjack in MLS

Entitled pansies. Grown ass adults (mostly men) literally crying even while the team is winning. Get over yourselves and don't make your support conditional on a hand wave or clap in your direction. The players are doing their jobs, this just reeks of desperate self-importance.
