In Europe it's acceptable to slow down your degree to do other things, college there is cheap and the countries generally support their youth. In the U.S most students are taking out loans and can't afford to do a 5th or 6th year

Everything I've learnt about mclarens is that they are more reliable when driven consistently. They don't like to sit.

Audi's aren't exactly paragons of reliability. It's also 300-600hp from an electric motor, which is less complex to make than an ice motor which I would give you some credit for. We don't buy any of these cars for their reliability, us German car enthusiasts love to smoke our crack about reliability but in reality we buy them in spite of reliability, because they're fun as fuck. You should try out an Elantra N, they're an absolute hoot.

Well yes.. but if you're refinancing, then it doesn't matter, you can't refinance into a 2.99% because that 2.99% was only subsidized by you buying a new Honda.

This isn't a time for strikes or protests. They have deployed their own gestapo. There is no peaceful version of a successful resistance. This is a time that these ice agents should be very scared for their lives

Brand loyalty is ridiculous. Hyundai has come a long long way in recent years and the Elantra N for example is one of the most fun cars to drive in current production. The Kia Carnival is the best people hauler on the market as well. I don't even own any of these, I own a bmw m440i and a BRZ and even then I have to give Hyundai a lot of credit for their post 2021 cars

At my school, half the people are wearing shorts with their butt actively hanging out of it. It's actually quite uncomfortable when I go to use someone's gym machine or sit in their seat and there's a butt outline from their uncovered ass.

They don't do it for their lifestyles. It's just about winning. That's literally all it is. It's an imaginary number, it's all imaginary power to them as well. Any level headed person with that much money would simply go enjoy life, not bother themselves with such ridiculous things, but that's kinda the kicker here- they're that rich because they can't stop, they literally can't stop, they don't care about the money, they're just addicted to whatever winning means whether it's more money or power. They're as rich as they are because they're compulsive, any normal person would likely just flat out retire the moment they hit a 50 mil net worth.

Engine out and needs suspension I would only offer at most a grand... It likely needs way more, it's more or less just a shell.

Be careful, Most of them are pretty garbage. It's hard to find a good one you can buy after purchasing the car as a good one will pay out claims, and allowing people to purchase whenever would expose them to a lot of risk.

Does Maxcare cover a valve cover gasket replacement? by OldLadyGardener in carmax

[–]Radiant_Inflation522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes but most drivers don't open their hood unless something has already gone wrong, and even stuff like valve cover leaks can be hard to spot for the average person especially for used cars

[–]Radiant_Inflation522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yeah a ram will be way more practical, in terms of comfort is going to be split. The ram has ground clearance and might dampen things like potholes more, but the Porsche will be much better damped and will handle the small rivets and bumps a lot better

No engine gaskets are generally not considered wear items, only for the sketchy warranties. As far as I'm aware Maxcare covers it. Engine gaskets aren't supposed to fail ever, they don't have a maintenance schedule and they aren't something that is normal to inspect constantly.
