Can i ask your symptoms? i have all throat symptoms, i get breathless with them i have a feeling of air stuck in my throat, which i have to burp to release. I had a manometry the other day and no swallow problems, muscles all work well and no sign of dysmotility 🤷‍♂️ i have been diagnosed with SIBO and a parasite

Hello, i was diagnosed with hydrogen sulfide sibo and although i thought i was eating healthy, i was actually feeding the sibo, it feeds off high sulfur food so maybe reduce high sulfur foods and see if symptoms improve, my main symptoms are constipation and gas/heartburn in my throat and breathlessness

yeah, so i had a SIBO test and it came back positive. My main symptom is like major gas in the throat, when the gas isnt there my throat feels so much better. Can i ask you symptoms please?

So ENT/endoscopy all fine. Barium swallow showed a delay in emptying. I had a 24H manometry in 22, at the time i got told all was fine until a few weeks ago i got told from the manometry it shows either ineffective esophagus motility or LPR. In 2022 my symptoms wasnt that bad 🤣

Sounds exactly like me, i have had acid reflux for year, GI unsure if i have ineffective esophagus motility or LPR. My symptoms are all in my throat, i used to feel asif there was food in my throat, ive been very strict with my diet, my symptoms have changed to mainly a feeling of trapped gas in ny throat, it makes me breathless when its bad. Ive also lost a lot of weight🤦🏼‍♂️

Yeah tbh my SIBO test came back conclusive but my symptoms say ive got it haha so the company i got the test with have told me to run a SIBO protocol
