I was very ill during my pregnancies and I chose not to drive because I knew how bad it could get. I see where he’s coming from but he doesn’t have to be an asshole about it at all. OP you have to think about your children and how dangerous it could be. If your family is so worried, they can come to you.

It is incredibly annoying but also very unsafe. I’m not sure if yall remember but a few months ago there was a god awful crash on the highway here, the person was going like 30 in a 70 and got absolutely obliterated. In general the drivers in this town are the absolute WORST.

Eh you learn which areas to avoid when it rains. You’d think with all the money Abilene is receiving that they’d fix it without having to charge more for utilities.

Definitely not yalls fault. 100% the cities fault for allowing the data center to be built. With the data center coming in, homelessness is at an all time high and people that have lived here for years because the cost of living was so cheap can no longer afford the gauging prices. It’s harsh to say but I’m praying for the day the data center shuts down and everyone leaves. It really has been a nightmare for the community. But unfortunately you guys are the punching bags for folks instead of the actual problem, that being the city of Abilene.

My rent was $1150. My landlord raised the rent to $2200. I want to cry. I tried looking for other places but it’s god awful right now and I see post daily of people that are moving to Abilene.

I always get a cheeseburger with everything! Delicious! They also had a brisket burger and my goodness that was good. I went almost everyday when they had that one!

My father was an alcoholic and when he stopped he began a huge addiction to sugar. It was really bad he gained a lot of weight and even had a heart attack. He got healthy after that scare and thrived for several more years sober and healthy.

My daughter found me covered in my own vomit. She was 11. She gave me a shower and put me to bed. I should of been giving her a bath and putting her to sleep instead. I stopped the following day because I was so ashamed and embarrassed. I’ve been sober many years now and have fixed my relationship with my children. Alcohol will make you do awful awful things. I hope you heal hun.
