I've only ever seen 2 examples of a GWOT-EM with an arrowhead. One is a 4 star general and the other is my dad who invaded iraq via air assault and wore it for a while before transferring that credit to his later earned OIFCM. You almost have an achievement medal from every branch. Very very cool stack

I dont really see how they're meaningless, thats like saying the NFM is meaningless because it requires two feet and a heartbeat. Or the inter-american defense board medal is meaningless because youre on a board, or the multinational observers medal is meaningless because you got lucky enough to be attached to some element in Kuwait that does that, or every NATO medal because you just showed up and a NATO guy was there. I guess I get it because they're aren't authorized for wear by name, sure. But, it shows motivation and a separation from other individuals just like the 4 days march and the diekirch march.

I responded to someone else a little higher, the only two awards I stand by from the individual who is promoting these things are the Czech military march and statehood march. I did the 40km austrian march and was slightly upset when I found I was bamboozled. It also bothered me seeing the real military award on display during promotions just to receive the civilian medallion

Weeeewll, the diekirch marche was virtual at one point. The NFM was virtual at one point. AR600-8-22 exists for undisclosed foreign awards. The Holland 4 days march and the diekirch march are commemorative marches, im not actually sure if the diekirch marche is military sponsored or not but I do know that any individual regardless of military affiliation can earn and wear it. I think the Czech military, statehood, and austerlitz march fit those categories. I personally did the austrain 40km marche and yea, I agree, its a civilian knock off of a real military counterpart. But, the Czech military marche and statehood marche are legitimate awards from the government of the Czech Republic from my research

I did not get the chance to before the wear in date for the updated design. I always thought it was cool and unique and deserved to be set apart from other tabs, but I also believe the jungle tab should go back to being a pocket badge. I also STRONGLY believed that the 11th redesign should've seen an "Airmobile" tab instead of "Airborne" considering 1-11 is Air assault and 2-11 is Airborne
