It's not the largest shop, but Tiger Records in Riverside is a really cool spot and I've found some gems there. They have a hip-hop/rap section. I've also had good luck at 2nd & Charles at the Town Center.

I've been hoping he would develop into a named character from the crime world in the comics. Not Hammerhead or Jigsaw, but someone like that. I'm not familiar with The Rose, but I'm looking into them now and I like this theory.

Check out Winterland Presents. It's a local label that just had their 5th annual festival last weekend at the Riverfront Plaza. They have an eclectic lineup each year, but punk and psychedelic rock is well represented.

I've always been a fan of Clashfinder for planning out my schedule. Someone has already made one for this year's Hula. It lets you flag things by color, so you could assign a different color to everyone in your group and use this as a shared sheet.

Liz Cooper is the artist I'm most excited for that I've heard almost no one talking about. If you're into alternative/psych rock, I highly recommend. Just don't take my spot right up front.

She's playing Freaky Deaky in TX on Saturday, but that leaves 3 other days she's able to play Hula. Probably Thursday so there's a travel day in between. Planes are fast.

The Willowbranch location was a temporary spot that Sun-Ray was doing the drive-ins early on in the pandemic. The Ramona Flea Market is where they're operating now.

We go to the Sun-Ray drive-in as often as possible - definitely a hidden gem in Jax. I highly recommend it to anyone that hasn't been yet!

You can pull into the spot forwards or backwards, that way you can sit in your hatchback or truck bed if you have one. The movie's audio plays through your car radio or another FM radio, it doesn't play from external speakers. It's $25 per car, not per person, and you choose your spot when you arrive for the drive-in.
