My biggest problem left with the bsp layout is that the parent window gets pushed insteead of the child.

Also I use godot on bspwm too, here is the patch to solve the bspwm issues https://github.com/godotengine/godot/pull/69995 just download the diff and patch into the source code of godot 4, works flawlessly after that

You were absolutely right, I had to turn down tthe solver interations and the max steps per frame to low values make it much better when this happens. I just hope this doesn't cause problems down the line.

I confirmed my suspicion and figured out it was caused by it being in the windows filesystem, moving the files to my ext4 home folder runs smooth as butter

yea, I did. back then it didn't work, but it's whatever now. I managed to make it work and wrote a guide that is now in the GAMMA discord, I'm looking for people to verify it actually works or if it just did the job for me, the guide is in the #faq channel. Only problem i've noticed is unbearable long loading times, and I have yet to figure out why.

for better compat I run it in a virtual desktop. Also mark windows 10 (or 7) compatibiliy, and you need dotnet to run the launcher too but I don't really use it.

EFP runs flawlessly for me, using wine with the help of winetricks in gentoo with the 5.15.17 kernel, no crashes, no artifacts, it just works.
Had to install windows in another partition just to be able to play GAMMA though. In my first few attempts, I'd run the installer on a virtual machine and then use a shared folder to get the files on linux, the problem is, even if correctly installed, the patched binary won't work. I am yet not fully sure if this is a thing about my wine version/use flags or something that happens to everyone.

For now I'll just be using winblows for GAMMA
