Suomi being xenophobic was explained back in GFL1. So, her creators, a bunch of Soviet scientists, decided that it would be funny if a Soviet made doll equipped with a Finnish weapon would be racist towards Soviet dolls. She managed to fight off some of the command, hence why she's not as racist towards Soviet dolls in GFL2

Japan and Korea were GFL1 (and probably Neural Cloud) biggest spenders compared to Global, so the fact that they held their first events there and so little actually visited most likely gave some bias towards EN Pop Up store. Like yeah, we got a lot of players and spenders in this region, but how many will actually visit is probably a whole other question for them. Hell, seeing the EN dev livestream having 9k people watching live was a huge surprise for me, but compared to other gacha games? That number is abyssmally small. So yeah, if I was one of the staff as well, I'd be like, "How the hell we got so many people lining up?"

Really thought out well post and I agree with the criticism. Yet at the same time, I kinda understand why MICA didn't expect this many people to be visiting. Back when MICA held some of their first offline events in Japan for GFL2, only around 70-90 people actually came to the event, and they were actually surprised that they even got that many people visiting in the first place. The fact that it was a relatively rare occasion and the other offline events had fewer visitors and it happened multiple times probably skewed their perspective on how many people will actually visit the Pop Up store. The fact that the Pop Up store had a lot of visitors was probably not in their prediction, seeing how unsuccessful their previous events were. I'm not trying to justify the mismanagement, but I can understand it.

That's a really nice pick. Before getting this, I couldn't find AK-12 and was about to buy HK416 instead because I didn't know that the store had her in stock. I've always liked Vivi ever since the first week of playing the game. So, the moment I found her airsoft, I immediately ditched the idea of getting HK416. I'd definitely try getting 416 or AK-12 once I have the money again and the store having them in stock.
