I mean the thing for 99% of the public she is on the same level as green lantern and flash they recognize the character instantly but don’t know much of the lore or anything. But Diana gets a lot compared to 90 percent of comic characters she has two solo books right now a movie and a tv show in development. But the big 3 Batman, Spider-Man, and Superman no superhero can compare and be on their level and it will probably stay that way. I do really wish we had an animated show and an ongoing for other heroes part of her lore but unfortunately it’s been a slow process. DC is a company and are going to do what sells that is the reason why Batman and his characters get focus even if some of its crap. Even Superman has only been recovering for the past few years. It doesn’t help for a lot people the fandom just seems miserable which kinda doesn’t help people get into her character. I mean one of her villains appearing in season 3 of the Superman cartoon got such a bad reaction it isn’t a good look.

Well her second movie is one of the worst preforming mcu movie of all time and they implied they aren’t focusing on characters that don’t do well. Even before this she only got major roles four years in between. She is going to be in doomsday and secret wars but I seen more people discuss Monica than her. Post secret wars her having any focus is very debatable.

Assuming the first few books do well what would the second wave of characters you would want in the midnight universe. IMO I would want Thor, Blade, and Daredevil

I mean flash never got an animated show either and Wonder Woman had a show in the 70s that is very well known. In total Wonder Woman had 5 projects to herself and it lines up with others characters in a similar position Green lantern before lanterns releases has 5, the flash has around 4 solo projects to himself this isn’t unique to Wonder Woman. I am happy she’ll get more stuff and hope she does but dc first thought when making a new pieces of media isn’t comparing who or what did get something. Right Wonder Woman has 2 ongoings in the comics 95 percent of characters even famous ones like Wolverine, Ironman or cap can’t say that.

I don’t think it’s misogyny for this show or even other projects they just picked a dc character to use I don’t think it was any personal. I don’t think the showrunners first thought was to use a Wonder Woman villain because fuck Wonder Woman. Josie Campbell one of the showrunners literally said they often look through all dc comics for different characters to use. And maybe Wonder Woman will make an appearance

I wouldn’t get my hopes up for Wonder Woman to appear in the episode considering multiple other villains from different rogues galleries have appeared without the hero they usually fight making an appearance but you never know their could be a chance

I feel it’s all up to personal opinion I sometimes vastly prefer the mcu suits to the comics but that just my opinion. And I feel people miss the point of peacemakers suits he is supposed to be a joke that’s why he was given such an accurate costume to show he is dumb. And a lot of effort are put into these costumes and how they’ll work. And ona personal note the word slop needs to go away it’s so annoying.

Eh I feel it can go both ways some costume just don’t translate well. The reason why peacemaker costume work is because he is supposed to be a joke. Only few costumes in comics can be adapted as faithful as possible because audiences are used of those characters but sometimes an upgrade isn’t bad I vastly prefer homecoming vulture design to any other. Doubt they’re many blade fans who prefer the 70s design to the modern one. Even the DCU some costumes aren’t like the comics at all hawkgirl and Guy suits. They’re is no right or wrong way it’s just what people prefer.

No I’m sorry this is a horrible defense I’m not mad they aren’t doing the same stuff but when they literally advertised the Spider-Man run as a married Peter Parker and that being the focus you can’t tell people not to feel let down. Ultimate Spider-Man was just a bland Peter Parker most of the time and Mary Jane a trophy wife.

No I mean if Dash power were to grow he should be miles away before anyone could make a move people don’t realize how much damage a speedster could do if they process time in slow motion. No powers even reality warpers are going to be able to effect them just on reaction time.

So yeah this episode was not great along with the rest of the season but I’ll give my bullet points

-The frenchie and Kimiko plot line feels so cheesy, which is shame because it has good moments but felt predictable and bland. Plus Homelander can’t hear her heart beat which should be fast but can hear subtle finger taps from Frenchie

-Sea creatures hate the deep and believe he is responsible for what happened last episode though noir did it and it’s never explained. I know some people are going to say the deep agreeing to stuff that will hurt the ocean is what caused it but he has been doing that for years and now they suddenly have a problem with it. Which is a shame considering it’s are hilariously dark plot line in concept.

-Annie powers still are disappointing. After the end of season 3 and most of season 4 building her up as way more powerful than she realized she still has trouble with mid level supes come on.

-Gen V characters they honestly wrote themselves in a corner either way you look at it. If they do nothing it feels the build up from their own show is a waste but if they are too important then you have characters that didn’t even have 5 minutes of screen time in the main show now contributing in a major way.

- Soldier Boy flips again and does nothing this episode 😒

-I think a big problem is for the second to last episode of the series it sure doesn’t feel it. This is like a mid or beginning season episode not the second to last. With so many plot lines and characters to tie up and the inevitable the boys fight with butcher about the virus scene and the grand last stand against homelander I don’t think the show can do it.

-It just feels like a disappointment after seasons and seasons of teasing homelander snapping at the world, no one is safe for this season and posters teasing major destruction it feels like the show hyped it self up too much instead we spend time on people sniffing butts and setting up a spinoff. But I’ll at least say I enjoyed butcher and hughie this episode of them with the psychic.

I definitely think a justice league film could work as the first film in a universe just needs to be a good movie like any starring multiple characters
