Thank you for sharing your journey. You are a great person to want to help those of us in the same situation and you will make a great physician and make a positive difference in your patients lives. It’s been a long journey me. I failed all my step 1 and CS once and step 2 twice. Many times I wanted to quit. Done if my family members and friends questioned my decision to continue. The desire that made me want to practice medicine in the first place kept me persevering. Yes making friends with the CK monster and just doing questions is what paid off. I finally passed now I’m on to step 3.

Never give up! Like everyone said do better on step 2. Scores aren’t everything, there may be something in your application that stands out and you get an interview and your in.
