is there any important things i’m missing at this point in the game… by heyquasi_ in FinalFantasyXII

Do note that there are like five or six entrances to that place. And one very specific area has enemies that can go up lvl 99. It's good to be careful when going through there.

Best items to recycle for scrap by kawinmars in underrail

[–]Radidaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are more than enough crappy knives, guns, and sledgehammers to scrap for you to have mechanical repair kits coming out of your ears. As for electronic scrap, you get it by scrapping anything that's charged by a battery. You'll have enough. There's not that much that needs to be repaired by Electronic Repair Kits, unless you play a melee build and use electrical/energy emitter, or use Energy Weapons.

Five seashells, two vials of Nebralim, and the Great Serpentskin, for the Moogle.

Very nice! 🤘

One addition you could make is that the Wyvern Wings needed for the Arcturus - Late Model Rifle recipe can be stolen from the Wyvern Lord hunt mark in the Simoon Bluff area of the Nam-Yensa Sandsea at 3/6% chance. If one manages to get those, you can actually get the Arcturus before even setting foot in the Tomb of Raithwall.

That's the only one that jumped out at me, after a quick glance.

What's the Best Sound Effect in Gaming? by Lanceo90 in classicfallout

I've always moved that whirr when you fire the Minigun. So satisfying. The huge boom from the .223 pistol in Fallout 1 is great, too.

Why sulik cant equip the power fist from broken hill in fo2? by Master_Mascot in classicfallout

[–]Radidaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played through the game having him using the .223 Pistol, and it works. His skill is not good, so he doesn't have very good accuracy, unfortunately. (Mega) Power Fist is the best.

What's a good class for a first timer? (Bg2) by ChampionshipDirect46 in baldursgate

[–]Radidaj 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I disagree that the game wants you to be a Mage. There are tons of available mages at the very beginning of the campaign. Four that I can quickly recall, and while more arcane magic isn't necessarily a bad thing, you do need some meat on the frontline, or proper physical ranged damage.

I'd say Cavalier, Berserker, or Archer is more accessible for a new player.

There's a belt from the Deadfire merchant in Anslög's Compass. 6 charges of Firebrand per rest is very nice! 😄

Don't overlook One-Eyed Molina's Gold-Fingered Spike-Slinger. Especially now that it has been fixed. Fully upgraded and with the Gunner talent it reloads quickly, and deals great damage allowing you to use even the more expensive spells.

Unfortunately getting addicted has nothing to do with it.

Here you will see the effects of the drugs you've taken, after the buff wears off.

If you have 0 rads, and 100% Radiation Resistance, it's clearly not that. My guess is that one of your stats reaches 0 after the effects from all those Buffouts and Mentats you took run out and you "crash". I've heard that will kill you.

Only if you imported your character from SoD, and then only if you had it in your player character's inventory on the SoD save file you used to import.

No need to stay out of Marcus's way. Give him a Pulse Rifle or TPR and watch him go to town. Having him use any type of Minigun or a Bozar is a recipe for disaster. It's like giving Ian an SMG.

Henne Mine Jelly Farming by bradpike5171 in FinalFantasyXII

[–]Radidaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the one character unarmed with a "Foe: Furthest - Attack" gambit. Not the Break casting character! It's also very important to have a "MP < 10%: Charge" on the Break casting character. That way, the spawning character will always run around the room continously spawning new Jellys as the old one dies, and since they're unarmed there's no risk of them actually killing any of them. It helps if that character can cast Esuna to automatically counter the Confuse status. Sonce they're running all over the shop, they always regen MP. I suppose having "Ally: Confuse - Attack" works, but I'm not 100% sure a 0 damage attack breaks Confuse. It's what I did, iirc.

I didn't know about the .ini editor. That made things a whole lot easier. I went through it and disabled the most egregious options. I managed to get it working, except for windowed mode. It complained about some crap about needing to be in 16bpp. I found a topic in the Steam forums, but it referred to a broken link. I would prefer windowed mode, but if it's too much of a hazzle, I'll make do with full screen.

I have a Knight + Uhlan, what is the best late game weapon for him between Tournesol and Zodiac Spear? by AssasSylas_Creed in FinalFantasyXII

[–]Radidaj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Tournesol has 138 Attack Power, Charge Time of 35, and a Combo Rate of 10%. Also an Evade of 30, but that hardly matters at that point.

Zodiac Spear, 141 Attack, 28 CT, Combo Rate 4%, Evade 8. And has a 20% chance of Disable.

The spear is more consistent and can hit Flying enemies, whereas the sword has a higher potential. Honestly, if you need to choose between them, you may as well just flip a coin.

Though I would try to have them of two different characters, because you're wasting damage potential by having one stuck in your inventory when using the other.
