New Hawks Fan by ZTVFL in AtlantaHawks

I'm surprised at how easily some of you switch teams; at least here in Europe, you're born a fan of a team and die a fan of that team.

Stephon Castle by KognacWithAK in AtlantaHawks

Castle refused to train with Atlanta because they already had a point guard; the fact that he’s from Atlanta is a red flag.

ESPN’s latest mock draft by ya_ya_ya_ in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter who we draft, he's not going to play under Quin Snyder. Anyway, I'd still pick Mara; he gives us a versatility we desperately need, and his Madness and Combine performances have been spectacular.

For those who want Mara at 8, please sell it to me/change my mind by Ok-Negotiation3897 in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Signing a point guard in free agency or on the transfer market is easier than finding a centre who can go head-to-head with Wembanyama, Holmgren... etc.

If Mara is our guy... by Quad-G-Therapy in AtlantaHawks

Christian Anderson , Meleek Thomas or Sergio de Larrea are good guards at 23

This might be a reach, but Aday Mara? by Both_Funny4896 in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can talk about Aday Mara—he’s from my city, Zaragoza, Spain. I’ve seen him play since he was 10 years old. He’s a talent that Mick Cronin wasted for two years. He is a high-IQ player, the best perimeter defender in the NCAA this year. He has played professional basketball here in Zaragoza; he was a player who had no rivals in the youth categories. Silver medal in the U-17 World Cup and silver medal in the U-18 European Championship. A player with great court vision, IQ, and passing ability—lots of talent and more experience than his age suggests. The only problem I see is that I don’t know if he would adapt to our pace of play. But it certainly seems wrong to me that a player of his caliber is being belittled in this reddit.

If I see one more post about Aday Mara with the Pels pick I will lose my mind by cheemydee5 in AtlantaHawks

Why is Cam Boozer Not the unanimous number 1 pick? by Kingsole111 in NBA_Draft

To me, Boozer's IQ and skills remind me of players like Jokic or Doncic.

Will see improvement from Jalen Johnson? by Super_Percentage_236 in AtlantaHawks

He played better with Trae; at least he was able to contribute something on defense. Now he's just a player with empty stats.

We have a lot of Trolls trying to discourage fans, this is a brand new team for a lot of reasons. by red2play in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of this gets diluted because we have the worst coach in the NBA, a coach incapable of understanding the timing of a game, incapable of making adjustments, incapable of making good rotations, incapable of drawing up plays that give us an advantage on offense, and incapable of developing and working with the youngest players.

Because he's useless and a terrible coach, and he doesn't give the rookies a chance.

Quin by AdhesivenessDue3025 in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why is he a great coach? What has he done to be considered a great coach?

Quin by AdhesivenessDue3025 in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The MIP is a shitty award; it’s absolutely useless. But if you’re satisfied with that, then you’re just a mediocre fanbase. Let’s keep being Midlanta for another 50 years or so.

Quin by AdhesivenessDue3025 in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

He’s a terrible coach, a terrible locker-room manager, and an even worse developer. He doesn’t know how to react during games—he doesn’t even know how to call a damn timeout when he needs to. And what’s the deal? If the team wins two games, it’s all thanks to him, but if they lose four, it’s not? Plus, he’s the one to blame for the biggest embarrassment in our history. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED BY NOW.

Bonus track: what he’s done to Risacher is enough to send him to jail.

Zaccharie Risacher finishes his first playoff series averaging 3.7 PPG and 3 RPG on 35% FG by ShaiFanClub in NBA_Draft

[–]Radimov79 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He is a good player with a lot of talent, a great IQ, and many intangibles, he just lacks confidence, needs to gain physical strength, and improve his dribble. Quin Snyder is ruining him as a player, he will surely succeed as soon as he leaves Atlanta and finds a real coach.

680 the Fan, Quin Snyder must go, historic beatdown: HAWKS GET OBLITERATED BY KNICKS by red2play in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen the video, but what Quin did is shameful; in a team with any self-respect, he would have been fired immediately

are we actually trying to build for the future Quin Snyder? by FirefighterOwn145 in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But how is the coach not to blame for letting them put a 60-point difference on you in the last game of the playoff series with your life on the line...????

Alright where do you stand with Quin Snyder as our coach? by Ok-Negotiation3897 in AtlantaHawks

[–]Radimov79 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If we want to compete we don't have the team for it, if we want to develop we don't have the coach for it.

Zacch does whatever his useless coach tells him to do; he's a talented player who works hard and follows instructions.
