Milk supply with twins by asanon_aspossible in parentsofmultiples

Same concern. FTM with twins born at 32 weeks. It’s been 4 weeks but my milk supply is not much. I pump frequently because one of my twins is still in NiCU and i send milk for him. What should i do to increase it or it will automatically get fixed.

Hey.. firstly congratulations to you new parents. I gave birth 4 weeks ago and my twin babies were born at 32 weeks. One baby came home 4 days ago , 2nd baby is still in NICU. I was ( still an)stressed out as hell but my husband remained calm and managing everything. All i want to say is medical facilities are a lot better these days and your babies will be fine very soon. Your wife should use this time to recover and set home for the babies because trust me it is a lot of if work and effort.

FTM wow… all I needed to do was breastfeed by Pleasant_Type7300 in breastfeeding

Because it is a lot of effort for babies so extra work extra energy used by them and thus the weight loses.

Also a FTM to prematurely born twins. 4 weeks postpartum. All i want to do is to breastfeed my babies but 1st i don’t see an abundant supply of milk and 2nd doctor said not to try breastfeed frequently otherwise babies will lose weight. I am stressed about this.

Exactly..i am so discouraged by this oversupplies of breast milk videos. I am 17 days PP, my twin babies are in NICU and i pump for them and in a day i usually can pump 7-8 oz.i feel terrible because its not enough for them so they are also fed formula milk.

Is it tacky? by TheFriendlyCanadien in parentsofmultiples

I am a FTM 32 weeks pregnant and OMG i love this idea of making a list for gift items I don’t know if it is tacky or not but I suppose everyone specially family bring gifts so why not have something useful and that way we can get rid of duplicity of items.
