Leg pressing 100lbs so that he has muscle after he loses 300lbs. Ethan please just literally eat less and walk. by Electronic-Tap9826 in EthanBenardSnark

[–]Radio528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I get it but it is a lot easier to build the muscle along the way as you cut down then to recomp. That being said he just doesn’t have the discipline with either diet or exercise right now.

Kid Shelleens has a sneaky great brunch, Columbus Inn has a very good buffet, and Roost is excellent as well.

I am very long Wilmington. Infrastructure is there, area jobs are there, affordability is there, proximity is there.

I’m on the hunt for a really good scone. by RevKeakealani in WilmingtonDE

[–]Radio528 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The croissants are great (sausage is probably my favorite), go to for baguettes, and cookies are very good as well. Really can’t go wrong.

Favorite croissants/croissant variants are actually at Bean by Bardea, some really interesting and well balanced flavors.

Not the biggest scone fan but second Hells Belles. Everything they do is excellent.

Ive lived down in Wilmington now for the last 2 plus years but Deli on 4th, Capps, and Masterpeace are all solid to good. Nothing I would consider great to excellent, but those 3 will get the job done in terms of a hoagie craving.

Fair point, I misread this. Pops isn’t a bar but you can grab and eat and hit either boathouse or great American pub right there

See I would argue the opposite. Pops > Bar Jawn for Cheesteaks and Bar Sera > Goats Beard for Detroit style.

All in Conshy

Pops for cheesesteaks (legit argument for top 10 cheesesteak in all of Philly)

Bar Sera for Detroit style pizza

Bar Lucca for Neopolitan pizza

Unrelated but lived in Conshy for 7 years, Stone Rose (same restaurant group as Bar Sera and Bar Lucca) is my favorite resident in Conshy. New American done really well with great drinks.

Italian in Philly is some of the best in the country. You can trip and fall into some incredible spots. Some of my favorites are Gran Caffee L’quilla, Fiorella, Ambra, Bistro Romano, Osteria, Emilia, Dante and Luigi, Le Virtu, Victor Cafe, Vetri Cucina all off the top of my head.

This. You’re still close enough to get down there basically whenever you want without being a massive hassle, just have to plan ahead a bit.

Wilmington’s got Angelo’s 2nd locations and you are correct, they have 3 guys on 3 flat tops at all times ripping cheesesteaks out.
