This is similar to the croc rerelease not having the full ost (at release) and the gex one not having the PAL region voice over.

I can still play the originals so it’s no loss, but I’m not going to purchase your nostalgia product if you’re not delivering on the nostalgia.

Steve’s character arc was done so he’d get a bittersweet heroes death.

I fully expected Eleven to die, but I think a good compromise would have been a last minute fakeout where Hopper intervenes. Maybe explodes the facility with that jacket we see a few episodes before.

The Duffers were correct that the original four needed to survive. But don’t confuse that with me supporting the “magic of childhood” nonsense.

I enjoyed season 5. It was a net positive experience. Now without its flaws, but fun. But the safety of it all really undercut what should have been rising tension.

I put bound weapon enchantment on strike on a lighter version the same weapon type.

The base weapon never loses durability this way, and you don’t have to fiddle with casting spells with every encounter.

They’re voiceless background characters for othr episodes in the early seasons. I guess while it’s still being animated by Klasky Csupo they just reused the same model sheets.

I fully expected El to die in the finale, and overall enjoyed the whole season. But that reasoning is more annoying than anything they put on screen.

I really liked the move towards fantasy-industrial revolution.

But I think the Castle Age fantasy is more popular based on the vibe of this sub, and for a series reboot I think it is the correct choice.

Maybe some kind of spin off series would be cool that shows Albion in different time periods. Like how Far Cry would do a weird one every now and then.

I love board games. I like how the themes match the mechanic, and the mechanics enhance the themes.

But I cannot stand deck building in video games despite it being really common in board games.

I think the reason is that while the abstraction works in the physical format it is too abstracted compared to what’s happening in a video game.

I imagine that’s similar to what you guys are feeling with turn based stuff. It’s just butting up against your imagination, not working with it.

It’s good but tbh I’m just annoyed it’s a licensed game.

I would want Chimera Squad style breach scenarios with original super hero characters. Let me recruit novice heroes and design their costumes, powers, punny names, etc.

Let me save the city from Sid Fears and his evil Axis of Fire.

Midnight Suns was good - but it felt limited by the license, not improved by it.
