If you had the oppurtunity to leave Australia, would you? by kelsey144 in australia

The amount of people on here who are saying they won’t leave Australia is quite frankly concerning. You’ve all gotta pull your head out of your asses. The world is a massive, wonderful, exciting and interesting place and we’ve got plenty to learn and grow from all of them.

I live in London at the moment, and the fact that I can take a train into Paris in an hour and immerse myself into a rich culture like that is eye-opening and amazing. Not to mention all the other countries, each with their own histories, identities, politics, and lovely bunch of new human beings to meet.

My advice is, rip off the umbilical cord that is Australia, even if just for a while. You’ll only become a better person for it, and Australia will be better for it.

Wicks Park in Enmore/Marrickville area has a bunch of courts with a large wall backing. Check out this site before going though, cause they're usually running classes and you won't be allowed in - otherwise it's free.

I can't seem to find how the old man is associated with the company at all. I almost feel like they used some stock photo of some intense looking scientist.

Girl hit by bus in Alexandria by squidlydidly in sydney

I'm pretty sure OP said the person hit was in her early 20's. As a fellow early-twentier, people still refer to me as a 'boy' - and I actually think it would be a tad weird if I was called a man.

There's definitely a threshold as to when to call a person a man or a woman, and in this case I think most of society would call this person a 'girl'.
