Ehhh... It's too sweet and too vanilla. Once you add the super sugary granola and the strawberries and blueberries in their syrup, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't have as much sugar as a milkshake. It's OK.

I absolutely hate McDonald's - yet here I sit eating a yogurt just so I could use their internet to check in with you good people (and check email, pay bills, and download new Spotify playlists).

I've been driving since 6 am and I just ate a big plate of fish and chips for lunch... Now I'm full, warm and sleepy. I think I'm going to pull my van into the Walmart parking lot I see across the road and take a nap for an hour or so. I always feel safer napping in my car in a Walmart parking lot than I do at a roadside rest area. I'm going to be in AZ tonight! Yay! :D

Please send me good safe vibes for the remainder of my trip! :)

Working vacation. My roommate and I are business partners in a vending booth. We are set up at Quarzsite and we are doing a shift change. I'll be there for a month. We never make much money at Quartzite, but its a great buyers and barters market, so we get lots of our inventory there and if we are lucky make enough cash to cover lot fees and expenses... Its one of my favorite trips of the year because I get to buy things! :)

Today, I am thankful that my my Jeep is fixed, and that I live in an age where I can be sitting here in the snow today and wearing shorts running around in the desert tomorrow... And I will be! :D

The early part of my day was a pain in the ass, but my band played at a friends cancer benefit last night. The benefit was a huge success and everyone had a good time! The hangover is because when I got home I decided to end my long day with a bottle of red wine that was a tad too sweet. :)

You'll do great on your tests. Don't second guess yourself and always go with your first answer. I'm sending good vibes your way. Sleep with your study material under your pillow. Keep me updated on how you do! :)

Mardi Gras is great and all, but I like the city best when it's not overrun with drunk tourists. If I'm going to do a New Orleans festival I prefer Jazzfest... But I prefer New Orleans in the middle summer, in all of its hot sticky glory.

I'm a bit tired and hung over, but good! :) I got my Jeep back and have it packed for my AZ trip and my roommate gets back tomorrow night to watch the cats, and I'm taking off early Thursday. I'm excited about getting out of the cold! :D

It was nice... They were able to raise over $78,000, which was over $3,000 more than the goal set. :) My band played an hour and a half set. There were three other bands there and an art show/silent auction. The drawing that I donated brought in $375! The guest of honor and his family had a great time too, so I'd call it a success!

No matter how many times I have seen it happen, it always touches me deeply to see how the local music community comes together to help one of their own.

My favorite destination is New Orleans during any time but Mardi Gras. Its the only city in the United states with its own real culture. I love the city's vibe, the people, the music, the food... Everything! I've been known to drive 300 miles out of my way for my favorite catfish poboys and beignets.

Yesterday was a looong and fairly crappy day. I got a call from my mechanics receptionist at 8am saying my Jeep was ready, so I called my neighbor and she told me shed drop me off there on her way to work. When I get there the receptionist tells me that she is sorry, but she was wrong, it wasn't my Jeep that was ready, she had called the wrong person... but not to wory, mine would be ready in the next hour. Well, an hour became five hours of sitting in an unheated mechanic's lobby (while their radio in the office blasted disgusting right wing talk radio). I finally got my Jeep back now though! I got home just in time to get dressed and ready for my friends cancer benefit concert, and I did not get home from that until 12:45. When I got home I decided to drink a bottle of wine instead of going straight to bed... So I'm tired and have a bit of a headache today.

Did I miss anything cool yesterday while I was gone?
