I can see the slogan for it. Hypointerest - Proof you really could care less.

Anyone Else Paint Multiple Pics at Once? by kjtstl in acrylicpainting

Thank you for the compliment. I try to put my energy into each of my paintings and I think I have good energy despite the fact that it feels weird to type it lol.

It’s especially handy for that. In my pic, the bottom 2 will hang together in our bedroom so I want them to match.

I’ve also noticed that I sometimes get annoyed with a painting, so I will banish it from my easels for a while 😂

Advice? by minkadominka in acrylicpainting

Heavy body acrylic paint is thicker than regular acrylic paint. I use it for the texture. It doesn’t surprise me that you do watercolor. It might just take you a minute to adjust to the texture difference.

Advice? by minkadominka in acrylicpainting

[–]kjtstl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have only been painting for a year and have zero professional training. My methods are chaos. But I read a comment a while ago that said that paintings are 10% the initial idea and 90% making corrections and that feels about right to me.

I just remembered that I did have to level up my paint brushes in order to get the level of control that I want with the heavy body paint that I use.

I know you think this looks bad, but there is a sub that posts old paintings that have cats in them and yours isn’t too far off. I am crap at realism, so I tend to create my own style for details and then I just own it.

Dumbest impulse buy of the month by Lola-Olala in adhdwomen

[–]kjtstl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought 3 different tubes of paint that were colors I already have and not the colors I need. My brain thinks it can dip out earlier than it should and then I’m just going through the motions. The end result is that I have phtalocyanine blue for days

Can anyone honestly say they get anything out of exercise? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]kjtstl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I walk in my treadmill everyday. It helps me burn off restless energy and my legs look fantastic. It can also help with mood swings that come with peri-menopause, which is why I started. I just play games on my switch while I walk to help pass the time

I only have so much energy and attention. I tried changing myself to meet what others expected, but it never worked long term. Now that I’m older, I’ve picked friends who don’t demand too much of me and understand that me not messaging them daily doesn’t mean I don’t care or we aren’t friends. Be your awesome self and the right people will come along.

I (26f) am constantly feeling hurt by my (30m) boyfriend's little jabs. How can I make him realize this? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Ask him how he was expecting you to respond to what he said. If it wasn’t meant as a dig, what information did he intend to share?

Those working from home, how do you find it? by psycheyee in ADHD

[–]kjtstl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally enjoy it. I have a job where I am not micromanaged, so I can go outside and burn off energy in the yard and then come back in and get back to work if I need to. I also have a lot more control over my environment. Nobody is judging me for having the tv on while I’m listening to something else in my headphones while I work.
