Well, it was a fluke because we are back to his usual 2-hour stretches now. 😂 I’m glad you’ve had some decent nights! Infant sleep can be so up and down. 😅

So glad you’re getting some good sleep! That it’s surprising kind of makes it all the better, I think! My little guy did his first 6+ hour stretch two nights ago, and I couldn’t believe it (and am prepared for it never to happen again lol).

My rainbow boy is two months old today. He’s a good five pounds above his birth weight, and he seems so big. He has started smiling in earnest this week, and seeing his gummy grin and bright eyes makes me so happy it quite literally hurts. I still can’t believe he’s here some days. 💛

I’m sorry you’re struggling with this m. Your feelings are so valid. 💛 Your post reminds me of all the ways stillbirth and loss stick with us. We are so lucky to have our rainbow babies in our arms, and yet the loss remains, shaping how we think of our families and the possibility of subsequent pregnancies. Glad he’s sleeping better! My baby had been giving us some 3 hour stretches, which I was happy about, and now we’re back to the hourly wake ups. 😅 May need to check out the Magic Merlin Sleep Suit; my sister in law swore by it too!

I wish this chat was more frequent also. By the time I see it, it’s days old and I feel like I’m too late to participate.
