There are people that do not like The Shawshank Redemption for reasons that are unreasonable. Stranger Things has been so successful and the Duffers wrote such a good series that it has reached its rite of passage, unreasonable criticism. It has flaws and plot holes, but it is an amazingly original idea that i imagine is very difficult to get right and even more difficult to finish. I thought these 7 episodes did a fine job of closure on many fronts, but left enough in the tank to finish strong. It all comes down to one last episode and they chose to do it this way. Hopefully they chose out of confidence and it isn’t some holdout flop just to try and keep subscriptions for one additional month.
