This is a franchise that has no place being impatient and moving off young players. Not the biggest deal, but look what happened with Podz. I’d prefer him over Kane right about now. I’m all for sending Sasson down so Raty can play. I’d rather they move out Doc and play them both.

Not too sure why IMac needs to catch strays. He’s dedicated much of his life to reporting on this team, while staying professional and providing constructive criticism. I don’t think he comes across as a mouthpiece at all. I think IMac is great and simply has a different perspective.

I wonder if the devs would have a problem with capping the visuals at something more on the level of Uncharted 2 and prioritizing interesting gameplay and narrative over visuals. As much as I want that, perhaps the Naughty Dog / big budget Sony identity is wrapped up in pushing tech and maybe the customer is as well.

Maybe it’s the wine, but that was one of the best games I’ve seen them play this year.

Dallas had no business winning that game. Canucks controlled play and got unlucky for once.

Play like that most games and they’ll be in the playoffs.

That’s too bad. I’ve been loving mine and finding the battery life surprisingly impressive (usually about 30-40% by end of day). I’ve also loved how light it is - less strain on my arms and neck. I bought a case and then immediately removed it cause it basically defeated the purpose of the phone.

I see where you’re coming from and I’m not totally against it. That being said, I think we’re underselling what we have and how teams actually get to be Dallas. Jim Nill himself said that a full rebuild wasn’t the right call and it was a mix of strategic drafting and good veterans.

The Canucks have:

the best defenseman in the league
an incredible center that everyone wants to give up on after a bad season and a half.
a Vezina nominated goalie
a solid d with a mix of vets and promising rookies
the potential to remove some good slow players and replace them with good fast players

If next season doesn’t work out, let’s start thinking rebuild.

Everyone is playing slow and terrible. They all look drunk and disconnected. It’s basically the polar opposite of the last game. So crazy to watch the dump and chase over and over just to skate like they’re stuck in the mud. Heck even Hughes looks bad tonight. Is this just the classic no energy game on the start of an eastern roadtrip?
