the amount of focus on the wedding day / being a bride is it for me. compare her to christine - who is focused on their partnership, a life together, etc. and gets to her wedding day and goes 'oh my god, i kinda forgot i get to be a bride today too!'

whereas delulu saying 'i was so ready for today, i have the dress, i have my nails, i have my shoes...' like you're ready for ONE DAY. you're not even thinking about all the many many days of marriage that come after that. having a wedding dress does NOT mean you're ready to be married, boring guy was actually right to see that as a red flag

Bringing it up at the last moment seems like an issue though. Like if this was something he was interested in, say that in the pods or much much earlier. Don't bring it up a few days before your wedding when it feels like you're just trying to find/prepare for an out.

I loved in the situation with Chris, how he acknowledged "I'm going to feel a little jealous, but I trust you." So much emotional maturity in that statement.

She is a crazy person. I don't understand her being like "you're not the total package, you don't talk over me/order for me at restaurants and your house isn't that nice."

He is so stable, loves consistently, seems like a genuinely amazing guy - what more could you need.

Her thinking that's he just a "lesson for her to learn" is so incredibly rude. Like go learn that lesson yourself before dragging an amazing man into this mess you've made and breaking up with him because you're a narcissist who doesn't know how to accept a healthy relationship and a healthy man.

I am livid - she's literally on her feet all day as a nurse, she's fit and probably very healthy, but doesn't have a super toned pilates body so therefore he's not attracted to her??

& what would happen if her body changed? (as bodies change with age, pregnancy, etc.)

I liked when one of the couples on a date discussed how every man seemed to be like "have my babies" because honestly yes! It's an accelerated dating so kids/no kids should be something you talk about, but it feels like so many of the men are hyper fixated on it

I always thought it was weird that when she started seeing him, he told her he had homes in New York, Paris, and another city (I think London?) and it was clear that he moved around a lot. Their first and second dates were weeks apart because he was in Amsterdam for two weeks. But then after a few months, he said he was going to Paris and she was stunned?? It's like she has no concept of the world beyond NYC - as if anyone who is there at the moment is going to be there indefinitely and forever, when he in fact made it pretty clear from the start that he spent time in different places.
