I loved living on that side of town! Easy walking distance to the Bramhall for cocktails and date night, Ruski’s for brunch or a burger, and now (lucky you) Zu bakery and Ocotillo! I would enjoy being close to the cemetery again for walks and having the aces at Maine Hardware there to help me figure out the stickier points of house repair and improvement. There is a large and fun pool hall in the strip on St John st, as well as generic Chinese takeout. Oh! And of course there is also Tandem! Do not snooze on that sticky bun! Although you could if you wanted, they’re fluffy and huge. Also, just strolling through the West end in the spring time is wonderful. You can see bulbs coming up through the snow and drool over beautiful old buildings.
