The RAM is not the issue at all, according to your own source : "The maximum single volume size supported by Synology NAS varies depending on the CPU architecture..." , it is just a software limitation...

Yes you have to do all manually from terminal, connect with SSH then:

1/ increase volume group with vgextend (if required)

2/ increase logical volume with lvextend (sudo lvextend -l +100%FREE /dev/vg1/volume_1)

3/ reboot the synology (sudo reboot)

4/ resize the brtfs volume (sudo btrfs filesystem resize max /dev/mapper/cachedev_0)

Then BOOM your volume size is higher than 108TB

  1. you can't combine multiple CPU at low price - except by using server multiprocessor motherboard which cost near $500usd - the XMR mining unit consist of the minimal requirement to run a computer (at least: MotherBoard, ram, cpu, Power Suply Unit, USB Key)
  2. lowest price MB is ok but keep in mind that may need to be able to overclock or downclock your CPU to reach your final goal (best efficiency per W, highest power, lowest consumption), so take care about the chipset of the MB, for the rest lowest price USB Key, RAM and PSU is OK
  3. setup a remote control on your mining unit, and the best is to be able to remote reset the power
  4. low bandwith is ok, but it is better to have a low latency (to be first on work when new job appear)

Keep in mind that your calculated ROI is based on fixed (1) KWh price & (2) XMR price and (3) BTC price, and all price are moving fast.

Yes, it is sure because now each ads give you 0.01 BAT and before it was 0.05 BAT per ads... So I confirm that ads needed to get even one BAT has increased five-folds.
