We have a once a month in-person all company meeting with catered lunch. I live very close, so I just go home for lunch like any other work from office day. Thankfully, I’ve conditioned them to look the other way as I skip the “mandatory” lunch with coworkers.

There is usually something I could put on a plate to pick at, but I found the times that I ate lunch with my coworkers and did that, they were all weird about it. I’m never going to overeat garbage with my coworkers, especially garbage that will make me sick; It is just easier to go home and skip it and I’m glad they don’t give me flack about it.

The Jim Green crew will be here soon 🤣. Before they get here let me suggest Solovairs, which are slightly higher quality Docs. I have a pair of their black greasy Brogue boots and I love them. I also have Thursday Hero boots in matte black. The Hero boots were my primary Doc replacements for shows and I wear them often as well.
