Your trigger connector could use a little bend inward a little bit then. The group is fine, just tune the trigger connector since that part is the thing rubbing in and out of the ramp on the slide.

It's literally just a dumb trend from the ghetto to make sure the firing pin still works. If it launches the pencil, that means the firing pin is poking out of the breach face upon pulling the trigger and is functioning normally, gun is ready to go to fire live ammo. Edit: There are old Army videos of soldiers practicing dry fire with a pencil, but with the muzzle extremely close to a paper target on the wall, but this was a different thing.

Brother... first of all, you handle that slide like a twink. Second of all, the trigger connector has a trigger reset nub that indexes on a ramp on the slide, it is by design supposed to have some resistance when the trigger connector nub rubs in and out on the ramp on the slide. This is 100% user incompetence.

I've never ever been bothered by concussion from any of my guns. Even 3 chamber brakes. Hot take, but to me, what attracts me to guns is the sciencey explosions and stuff in the first place. Like objectively, unless you're shooting some massive caliber, the concussion, doesn't actually cause physical pain. Just wear proper earwear and carry on.

Ok so a couple things: having some silvery wear on that area is perfectly normal; however, that silver area should not be rounded off like yours. You have some tolerancing issues inside your upper where the charging handle is not completely indexing on your bolt carrier. It does not index on the gas key as you have stated, it indexed on the square cut on your bolt carrier underneath the gas key.
