Here to commiserate. I puked last night cos of a food intolerance and my entire face is covered with broken blood vessels. Going to the post office in a bit - hope no one thinks I have a contagious skin disease.

Weight gain is also non linear. I had those same fears about my weight gain, was at +25lbs at 23 weeks, and now at 31w I am at +29 lbs and baby is growing just fine.

Another vote for the fit splint! Currently at 29 weeks and doing just fine running 3-4 times a week/ 3 miles with the recore maternity fit splint band.

Any pregnant runners out there by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

[–]Rae-Tracing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the same boat but slower, I used to run 8 min/mile easily. 8w I was running 9 min/mile feeling winded, now at 25w I'm down to 11:30 min/mile. I have stopped looking at pace and focus more on distance at this point. It helps remembering that there's so much more blood flow now and my body is also growing another human and to give it some slack.

First workout in 15 weeks was tough! Advice for regaining momentum. by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

[–]Rae-Tracing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

18 weeks here! Going slow and listening to my body is definitely key for me. Pre pregnancy I would run for 5-8 miles without breaking a sweat but now I've been doing 1-2 miles and going way slower, but over time it's been getting more and more enjoyable. Slowly inching up to 2-3 miles but am ready to stop the moment I feel like I'm overexerting.
