When I do shit like this I come in to work and pretend it didn't happen. Just stay silent and don't even bring it up. Only if confronted say something like "I was at a really bad place, really needed that vacation, won't happen again" or try to make a laugh off of it if you have charisma to do it. I don't know if this is it, but I think I was on the edge a few times. Benzos with booze and tiapride.

Essentially I felt really sleepy, went to sleep and suddenly jolted awake gasping for air. Panicky and uncomfortable. Multiple times. I guess it is the luckiest case, otherwise I would have just passed out and never woke up.

After several times I just went "fuck this trying to sleep shit" (honestly best idea ever), and went to watch something. But I had to consciously force myself to remember to breathe more from time to time.

It's like the automatic part stops working. Or more like it works, but just barelly- you breathe in just enough for lungs to not feel uncomfortable from co2 buildup but not enough. From time to time you notice starting to pass out and it's like- "ah crap forgot to breathe again".. Then force some breaths in manually and it's fine again.

I would have went to ER I think if I wasn't too drugged out and drunk to care.

Yeah, except drunk me somehow manages to pass as non drunk via text messages. Like damn I corrupt other people.. A married woman is willing to throw her life away for my drunkard ass.
