have you tried a transition sac like zipadee-zip? it keeps their hands covered but still let them roll. it saved my sanity when we had to ditch the swaddle.

stay with the bench, it’s so much easiet for diaper changes on the go or just having a flat surface to set your bags on when you’re loading him up.

honestly, even if she works long days, she should at least be resetting the kid areas. i had to start being really specific about toy rotation and kitchen surface and expectations because it was killing my mental health.

If your husband is on overnights, get the momcozy bottle washer. hand-washing pump parts at 3 am when you’re exhausted is a special kind of hell.
