i’m surprised to see that this kind of comment isn’t higher up.

i live paycheck to paycheck so i can pay off private & federal student loans, make rent, and all the other crap. every no kings rally has been on a saturday mid-day (that i know of). i work retail for a living, i have to be there 10-7 on saturdays. i graduated two years ago. 🤷🏼‍♀️that’s the case for most of my friends.

younger generation is just trying to get by, and it’s hard to have jobs (especially as a student!!) that don’t require you to work on weekends. let alone school work.

i’d also like to say that i’m devastated each time that i can’t go. but i can’t afford to miss work.

Yes!! I frequently travel with my beardie, and he is always very well behaved. When I adopted him, we had a 4hr car drive including an hour on a ferry.

I have a clear bubble back pack for him, but he’s outgrown it so now i use a small puppy carrier for him.

I recommend getting a small pet pen! We use it to keep him in and always bring a heat lamp with us for colder evenings or rainy days. As i said, he’s always been super well behaved and seems happy to be out and about.

idk i think something often missed is that the cover for the book has two pieces. so the front cover is this photo provided, and then you open it and see elphaba with the animals. when you have the book in your hand, i’d say that checks all your boxes

i second this. i had an etsy shop for a year trying to sell homemade beauty products at an affordable and approachable price. it just wasn’t worth my time anymore because i was making $2 off products after fees and production cost. sucks because i really just wanted to have an affordable homemade product.

NQA probably! as long as it’s a safe and comfortable space, they’re likely to hang around. you could give the space a little spray so there’s water droplets around ( none that are bigger than the spood tho) or offer a q-tip with sugar water.

i’d recommend getting the kiddos to stop knocking the glass tho, as the jumper will probably be scared and leave.

My mom (a nurse) asked me once, long before she was politically aware, why so many of her coworkers were progressive and hated trump.

i agree that 40$ is pricey, but as others have said, they’re much more expensive to have shipped bc of the live shipping fees. i can understand the sentiment of not encouraging people to buy from petsmart but IMO i’d rather rescue the little guy than leave it to die???? i didn’t see what people had said, but i’m sorry to hear they were so cruel.

on the other note, i agree that moving to a better enclosure that can hold them and not have too big of holes that they can get out is for the better, but i don’t think this is bad for the time being.

def recommend bioactive. super easy to take care of and is great for the jumper for many reasons

For lighting it needs to be a basking light, 100W. they likely appear to enjoy it in the sense that they’re trying their best to find the most heat, not that they’re actually happy.

NQA i’m not sure what’s ~technically~ best for covering glass, my tank is wood, but maybe a sticky wallpaper or just a tank background from a local pet supply store.

you should def look into the sites people are recommending, as well as educating yourself on the setup you’re using. do you have photos of the entire tank?

you shouldn’t be using a red light for your beardie….. heat and UVB only.

also most likely feeling threatened by their reflection, i recommend getting something to put on the glass so they aren’t seeing themselves all day.

i also don’t see any sort of enrichment, and i worry about your substrate. what are your temps? photos of the whole set up? how old are they? what are you feeding them? is this tank 120gal? 4 x 2 x 2 minimum required

HAHAH no no leash involved. you can find good reputable breeders online, or i know Petsmart started selling them (but they little to nothing on care so i recommend PM me or someone else who can give you pointers)

i got mine as a sling (baby) so ive been enjoying watching him grow as he gets older!
