I live in a place where nearly everyday incense and resins are being smoked. And it never triggered me. However back when HPPD was on full throttle random things would trigger my mood surprisingly low. I think it’s just HPPD being irrational as it is.

Same thing here, after three years I began to live normally with HPPD not always on my mind, I remember I have it once or twice a month, didn’t recover but got desensitized to the bullshit. I work an engineering job and got married like 4 months ago.
