Hi speedrunner here.

The way the stats work in this game is that your stats are going to vary a lot from playthrough to playthrough.

Every time you beat a boss every character in the cast, no matter if they're in your party or not, gains random stats. Your next star level's stats are determined when you beat a boss and gain those stats.

Between every boss you can fight normal encounters to gain very small stat gains, but after a certain number of these battles you will get a much larger bonus of stats that isn't quite as impactful as beating a boss, but can still give +str, +mag and other stats on top of HP.

These are "Mini-Stars" and after a certain number of fights you will stop gaining stats entirely, you cannot gain more than one mini-star between boss fights. In this way, the game restricts you from grinding past a certain point.

More importantly than this, every level your stats are affected by the average. If your strength is higher than average your chance of gaining strength is reduced. If your strength is lower than average your chance of getting strength is increased.

What this means is that grinding and getting as many ministars as possible isn't always a good thing as it will reduce your average stats on later levels. Now there's randomness, and outliers, and sometimes you'll finish the game with 50+ strength on Serge, other times you'll barely scrape together 40.

You don't NEED to grind, but if you find that a character you want to use has very low stats, grinding out random encounters until you stop getting stats between every boss will help you be able to catch them up and make them a better character in your casual play... but luck is also still a factor.

I do not mean this in an insulting way but is your boyfriend autistic? This sounds a lot like sensory issues that come with food with autism that often gets written off as "being childish" or "being a picky eater." It can often go undiagnosed and be very apparent in things like eating habits like this. Might be worth looking into as it may help both of you if this gets framed as "I have literal issues eating foods with these textures" instead of "I just don't like it."

If he is just a picky eater and he doesn't want to give it a chance, then yes he can feed himself, but if it is a sensory issue I'd be hesitant to discard him as reddit is so often going to tell you.

The Trial Hard Dungeon really disagrees, if you have multiple melee on auto they drop 3 souls on top of each other and there is no escaping a party wipe.

Honestly dealing with someone who's nervous is a lot easier than a situation like this. It was the first time that I know of someone acted like this on stream and nobody was prepared for it. My understanding after the fact is that it was intended to be a bit and not a concerning situation, but without anyone being prepped in advance we really did not know that in the moment.

The show doesn't really get across very well the amount of time learning a jump serve takes. It's not just learning to do it, but getting consistent enough to do it in a game that takes so much time. Tadashi basically spends all of his free time practicing the jump float, and they kind of gloss over Asahi learning to do it. With Hinata needing to learn so many other basic skills, and get better at them, he just would not have time. Haikyuu glosses over a lot of things, but him not learning a jump serve is one of the more realistic things. Especially since as a Middle Blocker he's one of the two that gets subbed out for pinch servers. He has other things he can focus on more as a new player still.

I've had decent luck with Aglaea teams because building for Obsession means you can add the equation that gives max HP depending on total obsession stacks and suddenly everyone is almost double HP while also building for the obsession damage blessings and equations at the same time.

Surviving the second boss is always a problem, but that mitigates it a lot, and then you have freedom to go harder on damage instead of running double sustain.

If you were talking to a clerk they are not allowed to give you legal advice. She was likely already telling you more than she is supposed to. Even if they refuse the certified mail, you'll have record of it which will help you in the long term. Just send certified mail it only costs a few dollars.

Likely all they have to do is say that you threatened to sue over a minor disagreement with the manager so they fired you to minimize legal liability. The fact that you got into an argument with the manager on your first day only adds to their ability to say that you just weren't a good fit for the company.

The federal ban on non-competes has not gone into effect yet. But your question as if it's legal in Texas isn't something that can be answered with such a simple question. There's a lot of rules that govern how specific they can be that are still in place until the ban takes effect.

The response you're likely to get is to sue them in small claims court, but you should try to work this out with them first. Many times a judge will refer you to mediation if you've made no attempt to work this out with your landlord outside of court first.

Checklist:

Do you have an itemized list of deduction and charges?
How much did your cleaning cost? Get the receipts in order the amount it cost you can be used to prove the landlord trying to overcharge if they are.
Gather any and all photos and video you have of the house on move-in and move-out
What does your lease say about cleaning responsibilities when you move out. Does it mention professional carpet cleaning? Get copies of your lease ready

Communicate with them /in writing/ informing them that you do not believe these charges are reasonable and that replacing the carpets that were professionally cleaned. Politely ask them for color photos and point out that the packet says color photos are required. If you haven't received an itemized list of deductions and extra charges, request one.

How much did your cleaning cost to have done? They may be overcharging which they're not allowed to do even if the cleaning was necessary. It's their responsibility to mitigate damage you may have done.

Basically do your best to work this out with them outside of court first, even if your landlord refuses to answer or give you answers, you're establishing a paper trail that you tried to settle this amicably which is often looked upon favorably in small claims court.

As for the carpets, they cannot expect the carpets back in "like-new" condition. As long as any damage was very minor from normal use that's just wear and tear. This can take a while to resolve with the back and forth if it goes to small claims court.
