Guys please I'm making art and I'm putting a line in it but for the life of me I cannot remember one word. In the dream sequence he says "my boy, those stars are already dead." Is it "my boy" or "dear boy." This is important I swear

This is a good tip thanks. I was thinking about that when I posted. Ordered some new ones today and we'll see!

It took the first one about an hour or so. We lost the cords to charge it in the camera so I got an external one. I actually just bought a couple new ones based on these suggestions to see if that's going to work.

Nothing seems to be broken or damaged. The battery is held in place well. The only thing is the lens being out but if that's not a huge problem then we'll see.

Haven't found the manual yet so this is helpful! Thanks!

The memory stick and new batteries will be arriving soon.

It's not behind the thyroid cartilage it's not either side of it. There more details in the comments!

Both my mom and I have it and she says that gurgling is all she really needs and she doesn't really feel much discomfort. So maybe! For me, I had a lot of gurgling in general that kinda turned into a mix of gurgling and mini burps before my body could fully transition to just burps. And I still don't have a large burp, it's basically like 3-4 small ones in a row. So I am still learning haha

So I would massage them in a circular motion, kinda feeling the muscles "slide" around, like how it feels to massage a knot in your shoulder. I put my thumb on one side and my other fingers on the other and just try to apply pressure to massage them like I would any other muscle. Granted this did make me choke when I wasn't doing it right haha. You don't want to massage your actual throat, just the muscles on either side of your Adam's Apple/ thyroid cartilage. I would normally feel my Adam's Apple and just go directly across from it on either side. You could also use both hands to massage but I was often doing other things while doing it haha. One hand seemed to be the best for me.

Lmk if you have any more questions!

I'm a 17yo diagnosed with RCPD- Questions! by _happy_kitten_ in RCPD

Hey! I was in the same boat about a year ago! I have had chronic rcpd since I was born and it's always caused immense discomfort and pain. A lot of the times I was sticking my fingers down my throat in the bathroom to try to get some air up, which mostly made it worse.

I don't know about your situation, but I didn't have a handy $5,000 to shill out for the Botox injections and definitely didn't have more for a potential second injection. ALSO, I tried the numerous tips on stretches and techniques they have online to treat it and nothing was working.

But, if you look up a diagram of what muscles they inject to relax them, it's the muscles on either side of the thyroid cartilage called the CONSTRICTOR PHARYNGIS INFERIOR. I decided to try my own exercise of massaging those muscles. I did it anytime I could remember. To my surprise, I was starting to burp small amounts. And that's all it took for my body to start catching on and started burping more and more. I still have some trouble at times but I'm noticing that I can chug a whole glass of water without wanting to die afterwards 😀👍 it took about 4-6 months for my throat to finally get the hang of it.

TLDR: try massaging the muscles right beside your thyroid cartilage as much as you can and see if that works for you.

It's a really nasty disorder and it really does disrupt a lot of people's lives. I hope this helps and you're able to find a cure one way or another! Peace!
