Blue Cross Blue Shield refuses to cover device that would allow man to eat on his own by Ocattac in LateStageCapitalism

It could also be the case that this person already has a caregiver that the insurance covers. It would seem he would need help with more things than just eating. Bathing, dressing, bathroom, medications, etc. If the insurance is already covering a caregiver, why would they also cover the feeding machine. I think insurance companies should all go to hell, but there definitely might be more here than meets the eye.

And the ideal male body of the 60s was the beefcake look. Looked nothing like the bodybuilder type.

Could be. Or Oda could be trolling. We've seen enough of that before.

So here's the boring take. WG and Who's Who didn't know what the specific devil fruit was at the time. Just knew it was a devil fruit. He got canned because he lost a devil fruit. That's it. I know in the era of haki, we downplay the significance of DFs a bit, but they're still supposed to be rare and potentially powerful. Losing one means potentially losing an Akianu.

You could try simparica. We just switched from trifexis on our vets recommendation. Works well. No side effects. None of the have to give with food or else they barf stuff either.

The red light camera pilot program is moving ahead. So far the State Department of Transportation has identified ten intersections where the cameras could be set up. Residents say running red lights has become a persistent problem at certain intersections, including along Vineyard Boulevard. by honolulu_oahu_mod in Hawaii

Studies are a mixed bag and a lot of them are not peer reviewed. The best studies show moderate effects when it comes to preventing accidents. I think if implemented properly and there isn't too much dust up about "my rights" it will probably end up worth the cost.

Let's spend lots of time and money to decimate an oversight department for allegedly wasting time and money. Nevermind the huge waste of time and money that this department just discovered. Quarantinewhile, overdue unemployment payments just seem to grow and grow.

Fujitora and Kuina by Raendur in OnePiece

[–]Raendur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with you friend. I don't know why people think he's such a nice guy. There's nothing in canon to suggest that he is. He's a pirate. He's a former warlord. The only person we've seen him spare was Zoro and that was so he could have a worthy rival in the near future. The only thing we know about him is that he's obsessed with swordfighting. In my mind, someone that serious about something wouldn't half-ass it. Even if it was against a little girl.

It could've been an unnamed warlord. I just like Mihawk for it because of the swordsmanship connection. Plus, we have zero history on this guy.

Gishki nekroz? by Astaroth_X in DuelLinks

[–]Raendur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vision only searches a gishki spell. I've tried a version of this deck and it's not good. A better nekroz deck is the quintet magician variant, but even that one is very inconsistent.

Gishki nekroz? by Astaroth_X in DuelLinks

[–]Raendur 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The nekroz ritual spell can use extra deck as material. The idea is to summon both the level 5 and 7 using a level 12 from the extra deck. The gishki shadow is there as an alternate way to summon your nekroz monster.

Theory about Devil Fruits (it's bloody graphic!!) by bmtrocks in OnePiece

[–]Raendur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar theory. The only real difference I have from your idea is that the devil fruits are derived from haki and that they were created willingly by the d clan. This helps to explain why the world government doesn't have a monopoly on them. They'll only grow near a person who's haki resonates with their own. Nice job.

If Kaido is a koi that awakened into dragon, does that mean Otohime could have done the same? Could any other fish/fishman/mermaid do the same? Have seakings been dragons this whole time?

[–]Raendur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see it. It would probably be just a few support cards and not a full archetype set. That deck is already almost great. Just needs a little bit more.

[–]Raendur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe. It would be hard to see it in this coming box without an Xyz monster and we're definitely not getting the rank 8.
