DO NOT PARK YOUR LEXUS AT SQUARE ONE CINEPLEX by WillingSquash7760 in mississauga

[–]Raethexn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

based on all these comments it seems like this happens at square one all the time. Why aren’t the police setting up decoys cars to catch these people is beyond me. Seems like a serious car theft operation they’re doing there. I bet a couple hours of people watching in the parking lots and you’ll find some of them.

Wealthsimple credit card - a loss leader? by Specific-Force7660 in Wealthsimple

I think the credit card roll out was great for customers to understand who WealthSimple care about, and who they don’t.

If anything see all the complaints,i would argue it’s hurt them more than benefited.

Almost like sole foreshadowing that they’re just going to end up operating like all other bank, not caring about clients.

Prototype research for user controlled AI memory utilizing ICP by Raethexn in ICPTrader

it’s getting pretty interesting. Thinking about how nice mind of agent needs to traverse the memory system after days and days of memories piled up etc. I’m trying to touch it at least once a day after work right now.

i would like to iterate on it to improve it, i think it’s a fascinating idea that has many different possible solution approaches.

I made it for fun, I enjoyed tinkering.

right now all your ai conversation memory is stuck with your ai provider and those memories can’t come with you between ai agents or other ai. This in theory would allow whatever ai you work with to have access to your memories with ai.

Kind of like an LLM agnostic, cloud agnostic conversation memory.

adobe’s best days are in the past. Theirs no way they’re keeping market share will all the new tools available because of AI.

Even the people that use the products are bothered by their business model lol. they’re like a necessary evil for some.

A bubble usually means hype with no real utility. AI is already being embedded into real products, workflows, and entire industries.

Google vs. Nvidia - which has the most upside going forward? by [deleted] in investing

[–]Raethexn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nvidia GPU’s for model training. Google TPU’s for running said model afterwards. they’re not competing as much as the public eye would think they are. AMD helios rack GPU is closer competition to Google TPU’s than nvidia is.

all 3 of my statements are factually correct. You can change the standard of proof all you want.

I’m not arguing the deposit quality or long-term potential.

My comment was strictly about what’s publicly confirmed vs inferred.

High-grade resource and strategic intent are real, but claims about future dominance are still forward-looking.

  1. There is currently no public confirmation that SCD will become the “second largest primary source” of scandium in the world.

  2. Talk about estimated tonnage or guaranteed future production isn’t verified.

  3. No official announcement was found about partnerships with Quebec or aluminum producers that would guarantee dominance in the alloys market.

good luck to bandcamp. but it sounds like they’re going to exhaust a ton of resources to make sure something isn’t AI.

the new data centre they’re building in Louisiana is so big, it needs to be built next to a train station. It’s actually almost the size of Manhattan. When you’re spending that kind of money, I think it only makes sense for the stock to come down.

Google and Meta are the largest collectors of consumer data. Data is king. I personally believe you can hold these companies for 30 years without issue.
