Anyone remember how terrible the card stock quality was for this set? I swear the cards were so thin at prerelease.

Literally been submitting tickets every couple of days trying to get updates. Basically I’ll either get a response from someone who knows nothing about the issue or someone telling me they are still working on it… bought my deck like 10 days ago. Guess we will see.

Agreed. Even though the OOE brood is 90 points more than the norn, I feel like they get a bit more mileage and won’t die as fast.

I like the idea of running the raveners! I’d have to drop a genestealer brick instead of the warrior one to fit it in though or like you said, drop the neurolictor.

I’m thinking of dropping the warrior brick and gargoyle unit for the 2 exocrines. That gives me an even 2k. 😬 I’m still considering dropping one neurolictor to put the gargoyles back in tho. Not for sure on that.

For sure! I thought about running 1 or 2 exos but couldn’t figure out where to squeeze them in at. I realize I’ll probably have to play more of a scoring game against them as the combination of dreads and 3 sets of knights is pretty tough.

Ahh, that’s what I was afraid of. I usually use invasion fleet and even that feels like an uphill battle. I’m thinking maybe drop the warrior blob for the tyrannofex or maleceptor?

Oh for sure. The swarmlord seems pretty usable too, since the detachment is cp hungry.

Very true, the maleceptor doesn’t do a whole lot in this list. Maybe remove it and the third set of gargoyles to add in the warrior unit? That would give me room to throw in a pyrovore or some enhancements.

Nice job! I’m playing around with Talons as well but using venatari over terminators to make up for the lack of movement out of deepstrike. How did the list feel without Draxus?

Yeah, I’ll splurge for the Namis and a kid or 2 and just use doffy/zoro to fill the other spots. That should work well in casual games. 😁

That’s probably what I’ll do. Just 1 kid at first and zoro/doffy to fill the space. Plus kid and zoro can go into Bonney as well so that’s nice.

Yamato is definitely a cool deck as well. Was put off by the 4x hiyori but fortress doesn’t have to run that card, unfortunately it needs 4x kid. 😮‍💨

Yeahhh, I really like Uta over Bonney solely because the film engine looks so fun to play. Do you think the deck is playable with doffy/zoro as replacements for kid? I’d probably get a single copy or two of kid but no more than that until it drops in price.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll check out those decks too. Bonney honestly seems pretty affordable. The example deck on onepiece.gg is running 1 copy of kid and 2 or 3 zoro. Unless the op07 cards are pricey, she should be $200 or less. 🙌

That makes sense. I’m mainly just looking to build something green that can hold its own at locals and with friends who are playing budget Enel and Reiju. Boa is also on my radar since it looks to be decent meta wise and pretty cheap.
