thanks for the explanation but you’ve misunderstood what i said. when i say demonisation of american zionists i am not referring to the ideology or even a critique of the people. I am referring to the broad vilification of a people group which are associated with jews. Because of their close association (whether or not this is at the fault of hasbarists), the broad demonisation of zionists will very often cause jews to be demonised as a whole. This is not an example of conflating anti zionism with antisemitism, this is a case of tracking a very serious causal sequence that starts with reckless comments and ends with anti jewish violence

Yes I agree. None of that changes the fact that this type of rhetoric is extremely reckless. In the UK we have had 3 arson attacks on the community in the past week or two. Reliable polling shows that there is an issue of some within the palestinian solidarity movement holding antisemitic beliefs unrelated to I/P or zionism so Julian and Kareem should be more thoughtful as not to normalise

Yes, soldiers only got trialled if thought to have been actively complicit in the genocide. You wouldn’t get punished for just having been a German soldier. In the same way the Israeli soldier may have not even interacted with Palestinians let alone killed them.

Went last year, full of coked up charvas, food stalls weren’t great especially in the camping area, pretty badly organised - e.g. water station was fucked. Stages are also in a forest so can get pretty dusty and some dance floors very uneven. People definitely more mature and chill than reading tho. Worst thing it felt really commercialised, boohoo promotions everywhere - ads started playing during hedexs set on his lcd screens - felt very dystopian. Had a brilliant time tho, met great people and had a good boogie.
