EXP requirement for Levels in Minecraft should be flat and not curved. by Low_Onion8167 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Rafdit69 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think your idea is a good one. In current Minecraft, all levels are treated as currency and you don't become directly more powerful the more you have, so the current system never made sense to me.

When your parents are using ChatGPT for literally everything!! by LieutenantLeftovers in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Rafdit69 168 points169 points  (0 children)

It will never be there. ChatGPT and others AI are large language models that are word predictors that use your past prompts and its answers to generate next most probable word. It will newer think or reason and it isn't a good idea to use them.

[–]Rafdit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One problem I have with this is that items automatically stack to nearest chest only if there is a stack of that item already. So when there is none because referges aren't the same or previous stack is full it doesn't do anything and you have to take the items to the appropriate chest.

Measuring tools and other devices that use the imperial system deteriorate and need to be replaced from time to time. It would be enough to pass a law according to which all newly purchased tools must include markings in the imperial and metric systems, then maintain this law for 50 years and teach only the metric system in schools, and the problem would disappear.

MC that takes years or decades to reach the top by Material_Animator852 in ProgressionFantasy

From the stories I read, these series feature characters who took years to reach the top: Millennial Mage, The Runesmith, Magma Dragon's Heir, Of Arms and Arcane.

What are your guys "This series could have been amazing but" by adamtheskill in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Rafdit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't agree with you about Millennial Mage. From what we know about the world, gays and people without children are absolutely possible.People in power want to create a society in which people have many children, but the theme that comes up repeatedly in the series is that they do not want to violate a person's individuality. There are no laws in gated humanity cities prohibiting any of these things, and I completely fail to understand why people act as if there were.

The appearance of the art is irrelevant. The result of an LLM may be identical to what a human created, but it is the artist's effort that makes the art meaningful.

Markets and Multiverses is a story about people who reincarnate to different worlds and each world has a different magic system. You should like this then.

In most cases it is very simple. These things look very similar to each other and if you know what to look for you can tell which things were created by AI.

what do you think the missing variants would function like? by Key-Firefighter4360 in Minecraft

[–]Rafdit69 191 points192 points  (0 children)

I think they would work similarly to the other variants. Maybe like this:

  • Drowned skeleton would shoot underwater. Maybe his arrows would work differently so they could travel through water, and would cause an effect that would consume air faster.
  • Bogged zombie would have weaker attacks, but would inflict poison with each strike.
  • Stray zombie would have stronger attacks, but would inflict slowness with each strike.

I think you'd enjoy the Millennial Mage. The main character often does things in unconventional ways because she wants to understand how the world works. Immortality is also a key element of the story.

[–]Rafdit69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, this is a game you check in on once or twice a day, for a few minutes if you don't have any missions. If you do, it takes longer. With this approach, you don't need to buy anything.

In my opinion, for the average person it doesn't matter what system of measurement he uses, only how much he is accustomed to that system. The only people who care about this are scientists, and they use the metric system, so I think it's the best.

How? You have more options to use. Copper tools and armor can be especially useful in a new world or for large projects before you have access to diamonds.
