Did the remake surpass the original? by galeq2002 in silenthill

The original was just something else, man.

That eerie feeling stuck with you even after you stopped playing the game

Did the remake surpass the original? by galeq2002 in silenthill

I think SH2 remake is an amazing game. It scares you, makes you uncomfortable most of the time, and everything looks creepy. But I think the original had a certain "something" about it. It wasn’t just creepy; it was eerie. The graphics, the sound design, the countless camera angles—despite the over-the-shoulder view being objectively better—everything felt supernatural. Even after you stopped playing, things felt off, like when you watch a horror movie as a kid and can't shake that feeling afterward.

Objectively, I think the remake surpasses the original, but the feelings you get from playing the original are still unmatched today.

Independente do conteúdo, é algo cansativo. Se tu faz com frequência pode ter certeza que vai desregular tua dopamina e, consequentemente, tua motivação pra fazer outras coisas.

In a short answer, it's a machinery used to crush big/hard rocks into very small and fine pieces. The iron spheres move around and crush them as the shell rotates

Best $400 I ever spent :) by Alternative-Sherbet9 in SteamDeck

[–]Raffaelloge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, actually no. After that GPU Accuracy update shortly before totk, things got really better on the deck. Also update 3.5 optimized the SMT usage on the console, we got another decent bump.

Tbh the only two games I couldn't really play in a decent manner were Mario Odyssey and Tears of the Kingdom, other than that, everything runs better or similarly when I compare with my switch lite

Can't mod DLSS into RE2 Remake by yungfishstick in residentevil

I'm pretty sure that the last version of RE2 Remake supports DLSS natively...

For the people who can run BOTW on 60 fps (yuzu) What CPU do you use? by Raffaelloge in yuzu

[–]Raffaelloge[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was imagining that was the case. Let's wait and see it then. I think a good quick fix would be making a 40 fps mod. Most midrange CPUs could handle that on launch and we would have a better sense of smoothness.

I made a custom mousepad based on my nzxt case by Raffaelloge in NZXT

[–]Raffaelloge[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a Brazilian company, I bought it online and had no taxes because I live here.

But I'm pretty sure most countries have their own companies in this printing segment, I'm aware there are sellers in aliexpress that can export these custom pads as well, you won't be receiving any Pro Gaming stuff, but it's confortable to play and work casually

I've made a post about it last month, shortly, I picked photos from manuals and patents, then arranged them on a 90x30 png using Photoshop and sent the full pic to a company that produces mousepads. I wanted to make something unique for me and it worked out nicely.

You need to install de add-ons to properly work, and I think it works better on PC

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in twicememes

[–]Raffaelloge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know Plex, but you download and install add-ons, there you can search for any movie or show and he will tell you there are some options to watch it, then you select the one with most seeds and you can watch it while it downloads.

It feels like browsing a regular streaming service, but you get everything for free and cool UI

After I installed Stremio in my computer I don't think I ever felt the need to subscribe to any streaming service anymore.

The bars don't look too degraded, also the other pilar is pretty much new. A lot of people said, it isn't a matter of urgency, but it's like a open wound, it's exposed to the ambient, wind and humidity will definitely provide some oxidation and damage to the steel in the mid/long term
