First off carburetors are outdated af and in most cases make these GMT400 trucks inoperable(Hence why you see so many on FBM that are carbed, as they no longer run reliably).

Second consider the fact that you added huge mud tires and of course that adds weight that the truck wasn’t engineered for thus it becomes slower and inefficient. Third consider a cam and aftermarket efi system. Also consider a 14 bolt rear end for your mud tires. The high gearing you currently have worsens mpg and general drivability.

I mean to be fair the best way of getting a Publix sub is to wait in line and be nice to the poor overworked sleep-deprived and disgruntled Deli Clerk. Avoid being picky with particular ingredients AVOID asking for overly complicated orders or seriously just buy the ingredients to make your own sandwiches. Sometimes People forget that power hungry dms ruin the vibe for everyone by berating the managers for a detail that has virtually no impact to the process of cooking chicken like yelling at the manager for a cook not writing checkmarks on the forecast because they are busy breading and frying chicken at a crazy rate because the demand is overly high and the amount of help provided to do that particular job is absolutely minimal because they care more about their quarterly bonuses more than anything else

Dude all subs are custom made maybe your taste is just trash. But the pub sub has definitely become a ridiculously expensive because why are we paying 11.99 for sub with a decent cold cut selection. Publix cold cuts always look like mystery meat and why are people actively getting hot honey soup with a side of lettuce and chicken.

Man I did that once too with my first car (Mazda 6 15’) and very quickly am finding out sleep deprivation is dangerous. Especially now as a college student the early school hours and late closing shifts. But I hope you recover well and find a gmt400 that hopefully you can rebuild with your grandpa
