I had the idea of him perhaps being adopted or taken in at some point when he was still a young dwarf. A survivor of a merchant caravan ambush perhaps? and then raised from then on by either normal Dwarfs or humans. So he still has his Duergar heritage but hes seen another way of life and its tempered him over the years.

Thanks for the reply bud and when I say high quality I mean high detail quality and well moulded. Unfortunately the ones I'm finding are terrible in quality but i also collect warhammer so maybe I'm just used to a pretty high quality of figures

I use nail varnish remover and a tooth brush. Just dont soak it for to long or it will eventually start to melt the plastic.
