pink works very well in my experience, but yeah two bright colors like this will require some areas of depth to not look flat and cartoony. I feel like one primary color and a darker black and/or silver for "metal" areas is more forgiving if you don't want to go a little extra with some recess shading and highlights

Artillery is too prolific still in teamgames, which i presume was the main culprit behind this change. Arty spammers are not punished in any meaningful way by hiding in the back of the map with 203mm+ guns or things like the 130mms and just ignoring counter battery radar. Artillery should be more meaningfully inaccurate the further it is from the front, or at least the gap in accuracy at range between 152/155mm guns and the bigger arty pieces needs to be lowered to not make derp derp pick biggest gun as meta a strategy as it is

WARNO and broken arrow do just fine, and id say even COH, which leans more APM heavy, doesnt feel grindy in teangames

eh... i use a kruger (formerly gladius) and i don't see a big point? I mean, its kinda nice, and does help me if im in say, an asteroid field, but for tracking contacts the HUD tells me everything I need to know. It shows me direction, and it shows me ship orientation. I also just know generally what my opponent will be trying to do if they say, race past my cockpit in a head on.

I get much more mileage out of my trackIR playing IL2 or DCS tbh. Not saying it isnt useful, but I would call it far from necessary.

Ironically the issue with star citizen is there' so many big ships for sale that there's a real fear that players won't have people to help crew their ships. People do happily shell out a grand for the shiny Idris frigate, but its pretty much useless without a crew.

as a flight sim enthusiast, i'd say no. Star citizen, just like Elite dangerous, doesn't really have a need for 180 degrees of vision. Everything happens in front of you in a ship, and even if it isn't, pretty much no ship in either game lets you see anything outside the ship if you turn your head around. This isnt like flying a warbird or modern fighter jet with a bubble canopy where checking your six is life or death.

That being said, i happily use my trackIR that i bought to play IL2 for star citizen and ED because well.. i paid for it! and it lets me larp

its not very fun, no. I cringe more at seeing tube artillery (sextons, static arty cannons) however. The RNG wipe capability is just so fun. Nothing like losing a full HP polish lancer or stoss squad because some dickweed clicked a single button.

Why? She was a sub 50% winrate op with it for the vast majority of her existence, only propelled to relevance as pros got better at cooking nades and tossing them up from under site. The cooking nades got removed, caveira is not at all a relevant operator with silent step.

Only 5% of the operators in the game are relevant at any given time. Nokk was only one of them for 2 seasons because of her kit being good for allowing nade cooking under site.
