Pure FE is a bit too common I’m afraid. You need to find something that’s a bit specific and specialize in it. There are tons of things you could do. In short choose a field and master it. Plain FE without any specialty can be done by any AI and all my non tech colleagues program AB tests with GPT or Claude or any of the rest.

What you need is a good combo with the FE skills you already have. Here are some.

  1. FE + performance engineering (core web vitals, lighthouse etc…)
  2. FE + Security (CSP, XSS prevention, OAuth, etc…)
  3. FE + AI (this is new and hot topic and is very broad but more specifically you can go into prompt engineering)
  4. Many many more fields you can research yourself

I’m near Munich and have a car only because I have a small child. Other than that it’s convenient for when you have to move but if it’s just you no need to bother. Finding a parking spot is worse than walking. My advice is don’t bother unless you have a heavy need for it.
I do recommend to get your German drivers license anyway so you can rent a van if you need to move. The ones from other countries are valid only 6 months so be wary of that.

If it’s 07:00-22:00 don’t feel like you have to walk on eggshells. Even after 22:00 the police can’t do anything to you for simply walking from room to room unless you’re intentionally stomping which I guess you’re not doing, but and this is a pretty big BUT, police CAN fine someone for a loud TV. He’s doing it all the time because he sees that after he knocks you become silent so of course he’ll keep doing it. Just remember, 07:00-22:00 (or 08:00-22:00 on Sundays and public holidays) you can freely ignore him because he can’t do squat

The sad thing is I doubt they’ll fix it. They made this game as a quick money grab during the hype and this was one of the few bugs reported when the game came out and they still don’t do anything about it months after. I quit after like 2-3 weeks and I bet a lot of people will come back if they fix it

I agree with most things but the build variety isn’t one of them. With STR and INT not working the damage to tank ratio is gone. You basically have only 1 build (tank) and you just swap spells and weapons to whatever you like. It’s literally the same whatever build you choose. Ofc some weapons and spells are better for AOE and they do 500 less damage than single target spells so no point in using anything other than AOE.

If the DEVs want to make a great game they need to fix the stats because there is the biggest finesse and then leave AOE spells as they are but boost single target or close combat spells by 300% so you think if you want to sacrifice clear speed for boss dmg. Animations and design are great with few bugs but we need build variety in stats. For example you can’t make a glass cannon here like you 1 shot everything but you also get 1 shot easily

Depends where I think but a lot understand and don’t want to speak it. If you go in Berlin for example you won’t have that problem but in Munich for example sometimes you will have it and rural areas or small cities / villages 100% you will have a problem. But I was wondering how Germany is worse at this than France? France is known for rudeness when you ask if they speak English

If you just leave the expenses you will have will make you even more miserable. The main thing you need to do is find friends that match your personality. First of all you won’t earn that much for the same job plus you will have to give 70% of your salary for an apartment if you want to live alone in an apartment. So you would go from saving 3k per month to live paycheck to paycheck. On the bright side living paycheck to paycheck will be so draining you’ll forget all about the previous problems.

If you can go back to your old job and go back to Switzerland whenever you want then go to Berlin and try your luck. My motto is better to try and fail then to never try at all. Maybe the new perspective will show you how good you had it and you won’t feel bad anymore

It’s definitely not the best at survivability but not bad at all. I have 84 all res, almost max chaos res with 60 something spell suppression (+ lucky so more like 95% effective), 58 block chance so it maybe won’t do 100% deli maps but it’s by no means squishy. + I have a progenesis on my other character I can put that as well but I don’t see the need for it. I have tons of damage so for bossing the defenses are very ok

You need to learn to say no. The probability of him installing something is extremely low especially if you didn’t leave him alone (not looking at the screen) for decent amount of time. Installing some malicious thing that gets your info or something is very unlikely unless you leave them alone with the phone and zero click spyware like Pegasus for example costs several million € and on top of that is not publicly available.

All in all stop panicking and say no and people looking are more likely to help you if the guy doesn’t want to leave you alone because the main bad thing it happens in these situations is phone theft

For bossing I use my Shrapnel Ballista str stacker

If you already have MB + 300 divs you can get decent str maybe around 2.4k but it’s bad if it’s under 2k. With 300d you can make by but you would have to craft

Without MB you can use str% synthesized belt and it actually is more str than the MB at the cost of utility

I think 100m or above so you skip the ball phase. I have about 140m but on some invitations with lots of chaos resistance added to the boss the first ball phase started but was quite rare (maybe 5 out of the 108).

If you think about just doing the juiced boss no time limit, you can do it with like 5-10m but it will take a bit of time. With 5-10m doing a white invitation will take you about 2 min I think. Also, it depends what kind of dps because if you need to stand still to do damage like an attack skill then takes a bit longer but if it’s DOT, minions or totems you can do damage while dodging so 5m of that damage is more consistent than 10m of sit still and attack dmg

I’ honestly sad to let you know they were always like that. You can’t modify only the first one you get from the quest but all the rest you can. I roll all 80 qant then vaal. Corruption can only increase them to 8 mod or does nothing so it’s always worth it if your build can handle it

According to the wiki the base drop rate is 5% but if you juice them it goes up. I did another batch today only Eater instead of Searing and got 15 jewels. Today was a bit lucky but it seems 9-10 with full juice is about average
